Room 6118

We were a category 6 guarantee for our 8/16/03 Western cruise. Yesterday I found out that we are assigned to cabin 6118. Has anyone ever stayed in this room or close to it?

This is our first cruise with a catagory 6 - we're not too far from you on the other side of the ship. We have 6578.

In January we stayed in 6130 about 5 cabins down from you. We had no problem with it. Plus that side of the ship was the best to be on. On leaving the different ports we always faced the other cruise ships and waved to other people.

My FAVORITE room is 6616, same location, just other side of the ship! It's GREAT being so close to the Aft elevators and stairs. You'll LOVE the location!!

We stayed in 6116 June 7 through 14. It was a great location! Our stateroom host was Austin from Jamaica. Terrific!

We have 6130 on our upcoming cruise and our kids are across the hall in 6131. I've never been on the port side and am looking forward to a different point of view.

I was in this same cabin too (6616) and loved it. I thought being close to the elevators might be noisy but I never noticed anything. Of course I was usually out of the cabin by 7:30 each morning and not back in until midnight or later except to change clothes, but even so, I was very pleased with it.

FERGFAM SORRY ABOUT THAT WE WERE ON THE JUNE 7TH -14TH CRUISE AND LOVED IT SO MUCH WE REBOOKED FOR MAY 2004 AND ARE ASSIGNED 6116, GLAD YOU LOVED IT, ITS A VERANDAH CABIN RIGHT? HOW MANY PEOPLE WERE IN YOUR CABIN? WE ARE 3 ADULTS AND AN INFANT, SO THEY WILL BE PUTTING IN A CRIB, DO YOU THINK IT WILL BE TOO CROWDED OR OK? THANKS IN ADVANCE!!!!!!!!!

There were 4 of us. And we packed way too much stuff. There were 2 adults and two kids...but my oldest is 16 and 6'3". And we were very comfortable. We did use suitcases that we could stuff inside each other and we were very organized in the room....everything had a place and I would make sure it got put back there. But we had planned to ask for the same cabin again, but when we rebooked we got another cabin, but very near and the same size!
