I was GTY status for our Dec. 14/03 four night cruise. Now that I have paid in full, I have been given our room number - 5013. Has anyone else had this room? I was thrilled not to be on Deck 2, as I have heard they are noicy rooms, and I am a light sleeper.
On another note, at 34 I have returned to school (into my second year at University), and I knew I was close to the end of exams when booking this cruise. As it turns out, I write my last exam the day before we leave! How close is that!! I think I'll need this break!!

We stayed there on our first cruise. We loved it! Being on deck 5 is great as its not too far to go up or down to anything. And since you are in that hallway, theres not a lot of foot traffic going by. The room itself is spread out sideways as opposed to most of the other cat 11s which go the long way. Ive heard people say those ones are a little bigger than the other cat 11s but I have nothing to compare that too. We found the room fine for 4 of us, including having a crib and double carriage in the room.

I haven't stayed near there, but like CamColt says, that looks like a nice, quiet hallway.

It looks like you're directly over the back part of the Walt Disney Theater. I would guess that that would be very quiet, other than possibly at show times.

What a great way to celebrate the end of your semester!! Congratulations on your return to school- it's never too late! Have an amazing cruise.

Thank you Kathy TX and Camcolt, you have reassured me that we will be happy in our "little" room!
You are right Kathy TX, you are never too old to go back to school. Sometimes I just want to quite and go back to work, but I have a goal to become a teacher. I have invested too much time and money to stop now!

Kathy brought up a good point that I forgot about, noise from the theater. Usually during the shows you will either be at the show or at dinner so noise shouldnt be a problem. We did eat dinner in our room 1 night because DS had a meltdown on our way into Tritons. We heard probably under 30 seconds of applause when the show was over and that was it. We didnt even realize the show was going on until the applause.
