I have just booked my Labor Day 4 day on the Wonder. Can anyone tell me about this room?

Give me about 5 weeks. We (me, DW & DS8) have that room from 06/05-06/09. Would you like me to hide a piece of cheese or fruit somewhere in the room and see if you can find it by the smell? ;)

Hopefully Disney cleans better than that! when you get back I would love to hear about the trip and the stateroom. Never been on a Disney cruise and was unsure how I would feel about a room with no window. I know that we will not be in the room except to sleep and get ready so not sure that a window is necessary.

I'll be in that room for my two November cruises, so please post details after your cruise!

Have a great time!

Beth

Since you are both going before me I hope to get full details. The Passporter says this is one of the quieter rooms on deck 2 so hopefully they are right!

Thanks!

I found the only issue with not having a window was not being sure what time it was, particularly in the morning. You have to check the clock because you can't rely on the amount of light sneaking through the curtains. If there is any chance you might experience motion sickness (as my DW did on the first night) you will be happy not to be able to see the waves outside your room.
As far as the noise level, if you are expecting dead quiet, you will be disappointed. There was a constant hum when the ship was moving, but not as loud as what you hear when you are flying and not loud enough to drown out the TV or require you to shout conversations or to make it difficult to sleep.
The locations was nice because it is between the midship and aft elevators/stairs and we had our last two dinners and last breakfast at Parrot Cay, which is just one floor up. We were also pretty close to the debarkation locations.
We slept well, were comfortable when we spent time in the room (two adults and on 8-year-old) and found we had plenty of room for everything. If I were to do it all again, I'd unpack everything from the suitcases on the first day and use the substantial in-room storage, then stash the suitcases under the bed. We ended up pulling them out a couple of times a day looking for one thing or another.
Also, the convertible couch/bed was a pretty cool set-up!
If you have any specific questions, don't hesitate to ask!
