Rookie question on POP

Hi, I just booked our first WDW trip for six, 4 adults and three kids, 15, 12, and 5. I got two rooms at the POP, for May 2008. Would there be any benefit on changing to one of the All Star resorts or is it pretty much the same kind of hotel?

POP has it's own buses.
The 3 All Stars share their buses.

Both have Pizza delivery after 4pm (I think)

POP has a better menu:

I would stay with POP.

Make sure you ask for 2 rooms which have a door which connects the two rooms. Make sure it is on your reservation with WDW.

They are all value resorts, just differently themed. Stick with Pop and have a great trip!

well that all stars music has the family suites - so you could all stay in the same room.

It does have a kitchennett. So you could cook some meals and save a little money.

I think the POP is the best choice - I have stayed at them all and just the fact that the POP has it's own bus is reason enough to stay there!!

I'd say Pop is a better location and it doesn't share buses, making it my choice. However ASMu does have the suites and recently refurbished rooms.

So one of those two for me...but probably POP

Thanks for the replies. We originally did book at ASM with the family suite because we only had 6, but then we added another family member so we are now at 7 which is 1 too many for the family suite. So, I switched to POP with two rooms, just because I am into nostalgia stuff. Kinda thought they were about the same, I was just double checking. Thanks everyone.
