My husband and I are thinking of planning a quick weekend trip (3-4 days) with our 3 yo and 9mo kids. When is the best time to go? We are thinking of going in February, April or May. Which of those months would be the busiest? From what I can see the GF resort is only 1 monorail stop away from the MK which is where we will spend most of our time so I am thinking about staying there. Good idea? Other than a character breakfast, I am completely unsure of what else to see. Our 3 yo is a girl and loves the princess stuff. Any ideas and tips appreciated.
Thanks

one more thing....how does a fast pass work? Should I get tickets to the theme parks and fast pass in advance?

first off WELCOME to the boards:wave:

i can answer a few of your questions

fast passes are avaiable on some rides but only in the park you can not pre purchase
you put your park ticket in the fast pass machine at the front of the ride you want
on it is a return time
go explore something else in the park
at the return time go back to the ride and you get in
the fast pass line which is normally much faster

as for park tickets they are less expensive if you purchase before you get to the park
there are several options if you staying on site you may want to look into the packages they have that include your stay and tickets

don't know about may but
april with easter tends to be busy and crowded but nice weather
we went in Feb after spring break and the weather was nice and the crowds were not to bad

of course the weather is realitive we are in upstate New York so in febuary almost anything above 40 feels nice
but i think it was around 70-75 and very little rain
we had a great time

enjoy the planning that is at least 1/2 the fun and these boards are a great place to learn
