Hey everyone--if you remember I used the code to get 3 rooms at Ron Jons for 7/2 for $107 each, including tax. Just a heads up--I got the room confirmation sheets, and there is ALSO a $50 security deposit for each room due at check in. I'm sure it's no problem, but after harping on our savings to my sister I don't know how she'll feel about it. Just keep that in mind when you are budgeting, or bring a different credit card for that deposit.

I got a studio for $75. It came to $82.50 total no mention of a security deposit. The snail mail confirmation did mention check in is 4 pm and check out is 10 am.

Hope this helps.

I had to pay the first night already w/ my c.card. Did anyone else have to do that? Because of that, I figured they would waive the 50.00 security deposit since they already got half my money and credit card number, but not sure. I think I'll call about it.

Please let us know what they say. Never heard mention of a $50 deposit before.

Sounds like a great deal.....is it possible to tell (or PM me) the code you used?
Also, do any of the rooms accommodate 5?

I believe one of the codes is 102. The one-bedroom and larger hold 6+, depending on the room size. The studio is the only one that holds less then 5...it holds 4 guests

I just got my confirmation and it said there was an extra $50.00 due at check-in. I spoke to Missy, and she said it was for incidentals, like turning on the phone. She said it was fully refundable at check out.I also questioned that I had already paid for the room in full, but she said it was an extra charge that would be refunded. Someone else please call and see if you get the same answer. Thanks!!

I got the same answer. Also on the bottom of the confirmation letter, it does say "A Security deposit of $50 is required at check-in for all reservations."

Didn't surprise me since a lot of places do this now. Especially newer places.

I have to pay the 50.00 security deposit, also. Not a problem for us since it is refundable.

Thanks! I'm glad we all got the same answer!!I can't wait to get there!!:wave2:

Does Ron Jon's provide transportation to the cruise terminal? I checked out the website and it looks so cool! We need a place to park our car and get to the boat.

I would guess that the deposit is because this is a time-share type place, and security deposits are the norm for most time-shares.

We stayed here in Feb - the resort is great! We did have to pay a one nights deposit when we booked. That was $150+ less we had to pay when we got back!

don't forget to take your own shampoo!!!! and coffee if it's a must have when you wake up!

I am so jealous of all of you! Have fun!

Veruka- Word is that Ron Jon now offers a shuttle service thru a 3rd party company. There is a charge for the service. I have also recently heard that you can park at the resort during your cruise. We cant wait to stay in May
