We have just returned from Venice, and as Rome came a close second when choosing our short break destination, I will look forward to hearing all about what we missed by choosing Venice! I still have Rome on the to do list, so I will look forward to all your invaluable tips!

Yes. We are interested in a trip report about Rome. I love your trip reports and after reading your report about Barcelona, I want to go there. Believe it or not (I really shouldn't admit this) I'd never heard of Gaudi until reading your report. Now I want to go see for myself. We're hoping to go there in 2010 for our 40th anniversary as part of a Med cruise (start and end there). Of course, after I read about your trip to Rome maybe I'll want to go there more.

Now I'm off to read your Paris trip report. Must have missed it.

trippie update...... have been very distracted this week (trivial things, you know, work, kids, housework, pets, gym etc..) and am still only halfway through Day2, but I'm really trying to get a couple of hours in later today....
