Some people who don't get the Disney Magic probably wouldn't believe how incredibly romantic Disney can be at the right time and place. Although I've never been fortunate enough to go with anyone I was romantically involved with...but being a hopeless romantic I've noticed plenty of times I wish I had! I think one of my favorite romantic times/places was when I was there around Christmas time and we went to Epcot to watch Illuminations. It was so beautiful at night with all of the Christmas lights and the torches lit around World Showcase! It wasn't freezing or anything, but it was just enough chilly to want to snuggle with someone. I can understand completely why so many people would choose WDW as their honeymoon destinations!

I agree, WS, at night, can be romantic. So is MK. And Christmas there is great. But if your single, you can really feel it then too. Don't be a hopless romantic, be a hopeful one. Who knows what tomorrow may hold?

P.S. I can just see people posting after me... Go To Oprah! Go To Oprah! hehehe!

Christmas time,,,,,,Fort Wilderness, Carriage Ride,,,,,the ride over to FW from The MK dock, on the boat,,,,cool and great for hugging!! The TOP OF THE WORLD as the fire works are going off above the Castle!!!--oh there are so many!!!!

I loved just sitting on the swing seats on the beach (in front of the Beach Club) watching the Epcot fireworks with my DH.

An evening boat ride down the river from Port Orleans to Downtown Disney. :)

We did honeymoon at Disney 14 years ago and were able to find lots of romantic spots. For example we rented one of the pontoon boats and took it and a box lunch to the far side of the lake - no one else was around - it was wonderful.

We also did high tea and that was very romantic.

Holiday time is a great time too! We did the sleigh ride from the Wilderness Lodge last December. What a beautiful night and the only sound was the clop, clop, clop of the horse hooves and the jingle of his bells.

Oooh I'd love to know more romantic things at Disney. My boyfriend and I have been planning on going to Disney, and now that we got a job, we're beginning to plan a trip, hopefully in January. This will be my first time going on a trip with him, without my family, so I really want it to be nice.

Dinner at the California Grille
Being on the boat from MK to WL just before the fireworks start for the New Year's celebration.

Those are my favorite "romantic" tourist locations.
