We are over for our tenth anniversary in the summer and my mum is going to look after the kids so we can have a meal out. Where would you recommend? I quite fancy EPCOT or Boardwalk but am open to suggestions. (We have previously done CG and Yachtsman steakhouse)

I know it's not Epcot but artist point at wilderness lodge is lovely. We took the boat from MK to the lodge and that was lovely and romantic and the food and service are superb. Plus the lodge is impressive to look around.

If you want to stay Epcot area we had a great meal at Shula's in the dolphin and we love the food and atmosphere at the San angel inn in Mexico. If you can get a table by tr water its lovely.

my other option would be go to one of the placed in the poly in time to see the fireworks from MK after dinner. We found it very romantic to sit on the beach and watch the show.

We had a lovely romantic meal for my birthday last September in JIKO's at AKL..there are lots of good places really so you are gonna prob get suggestions of most of the resturants! :)

Its always nice to hear peoples experiences though :goodvibes

We did a private butler dinner at the grand floridian for our first wedding anniversary and was lovely

Bluezoo at the Dolphin.

Do you have a budget in mind?

My suggestion isn't cheap, but tough to beat in the Romance stakes!

If you would prefer Epcot, you could have a private catered event. I arranged this for an anniversary surprise for my wife and I. You contact Disney Catered Events, hire a venue (in our case it was the UK Pubside Patio by the Rose & Crown) and they set up the entire area for you with your choice of food.

The hire of the venue was around $100 and the menu I chose was $150 per person, so it's not cheap, but you get to watch illuminations in your own private area, with your choice of food. It was absolutely incredible.

That's sounds great. We had our wedding dessert party on the UK terrace so I hold a soft spot for that area.

I would love to arrange something like this for an upcoming trip. Now did you contact Disney, do you have an email address/phone number?

There are so many great options in that area.

We had an amazing meal at BlueZoo during our wedding trip, restaurant wasn't too loud. Flying Fish is one of my faves. San Angel Inn in Mexico is a nice atmosphere if you like the menu.

we had a lovely meal at Narcooses (spelling?) at the grand Floridian. we were able to watch wishes from the veranda too :goodvibes

Not the Epcot / Boardwalk area, but another vote here for Artist Point in Wilderness Lodge! We had a fantastic meal there on our honeymoon in September.

Another idea - we also loved having afternoon tea in the Grand Floridian!

Narcosee's (sp) is reasonably intimate despite its size and has a nice atmosphere with its lakeside setting. Wolfgang Puck Dining Room at DTD is worth a look at too. California Grill is worth it just for the view alone.

Yet another vote for Artists Pointe! I think it is nice as it quieter than most of the other signatures and DH & I had a lovely meal there. :thumbsup2

We did narcoosees when we went in October and found it to be amazing! ( preferred it way more then Jiko & Cali grill)

We had a window table and the view was fab, we took my mum and our 3 boys ( who also loved it) and still thought it was wonderful and romantic.

After dinner and the fireworks we then took the little boat back to magic kingdom to catch our bus and it was the perfect way to finish the evening! I can't wait to book another holiday so we can repeat it.

Another vote for Artist Point! Delicious food and and fairly quiet (much quieter than the California Grill!).
