Making a reservation at V&A as a backup sounds like a good idea. I will do that then try to setup the Private Dining experience.

There was a post awhile back about a private dining experience that someone's DH set up at the GF. It sounded really lovely. I'd never heard of anything like that before, but evidently you can arrange all sorts of special, private dining experiences.

We just did this in October and it was AMAZING! We were outside, got to pick our menu, and watches the fireworks from our private little table. It was really cool.
