I AM GOING TO WALT DISNEYWORLD FOR MY HONEYMOON, BOTH MY WIFE TO BE AND I A BIG DISNEY FANS. I WANT THIS HONEYMOON TO BE THE MOST SEXY AND ROMANTIC TIME EVER. MONEY IS NOT A PROBLEM, I JUST NEED TO KNOW THE BEST IDEAS YOU HAVE FOR ROMANCE, RESORT CHOICE, AND MUST SEE SIGHTS.....THANKS FOR EVERYONES HELP!!

Honeymoon room at the GF, beautiful room with lots of windows and view of the castle. Garden suite at the Boardwalk, very private and 2 levels. Illuminations cruise on the breathless or private cruise on the Grand I. Dinner at Shula's, Yachtsman Steakhouse or California Grill.

Make sure you see the new Wishes fireworks in MK! UNBELIEVABLE !

I agree with Illuminations cruise. DH & I stayed at a suite at the Yacht Club for our honeymoon and loved it! We debated between YC & GF and were very happy with our choice. We walked to Epcot and Boardwalk almost everyday. Also, this may not sound very romantic, but try a fishing cruise too. If you do the early one from the Boardwalk, you go to the middle of World Showcase Lagoon with no one around. Congratulations and have fun!

If this helps, I'll tell you what I'm planning. We're spending 4 nights at the GF Honeymoon Turret room, then 3 nights on the Disney Wonder, the returning for 4 nights at the Poly LV Concierge.

As far as eating, I suggest Cali Grill, V&A, Cindy's, Yachtmans Steakhouse, Bistro de Paris, Tony's Town Square (Lady and Tramp), Citricos...can't think of any other's off the top of my head.

We will definately be doing the Breathless Illuminations (I know it's hard to get, but you know what, I WILL GET IT :p ), Carriage Ride around PO, Parasailing if you're into thrills, and definately GF Spa Treatment.

You can also order things to be delivered to your room, like flowers, romance baskets, champaigne, chocolate, etc. If you need any help, just PM me.

We honeymooned at WDW 9 years ago! What a blast. We're now hooked, of course, and have gone every year since at least once.

WDW is a very romantic place to be! I think you'll be happy with any of the deluxe resorts, but me and my hubby like YC/BC the best. We don't have any kids, and we find the Epcot Resort area to be very convenient with lots of dining and shopping right there at the Boardwalk. We think the Boardwalk area is romantic. Strolling, renting a surry for two...lots of fun. And, we like being a short walk to World Showcase where you can dine at very romantic restaurants like Chefs de France, Bistro de Paris, and Alfredos in Italy (they even having a strolling Opera Singer).

Other romantic dining choices are Artist Pointe (WL), Yachtsman Steakhouse (YC), Narcoosees (GF), and...although the food is awful...the Polynesian Luau (if they still have it) is so much fun. We went for our honeymoon and got to go up on stage and dance. It was so nice and I'll never forget it.

We find our WDW vacations to be very romantic. You'll have a great time.

Sorry, I know I just posted but I thought of some more romantic tips. I got carried away on the dining and got all excited and hungry. Here are some more ideas:

*Carriage ride at Fort Wilderness (not the hay ride...but the ride just for two)
*Illuminations - sounds silly but we think it's very romantic
*go resort hopping and enjoy the beautiful theming and daydream about where you're going to stay next time you visit
*Rent a boat at the Contemporary

Okay, I'll shut up. What a delightful subject.

We're honeymooning in WDW in June and here's our plan if it helps you with some ideas. It's sorta similar to drizzt117's so I'm thinking it must be a good idea. We're staying at the GF in a honeymoon conceirge room for a week (we asked for a turret room but were told they're not guaranteed, that we'd get either that or the type with the jacuzzi tub, if that's wrong, let me know and we'll call back to change it). After that, we're going on a 4 night Disney Wonder cruise, then going back to WDW for 3 nights at AKL concierge. We haven't planned out all of our activities yet, but we know we'll be renting water mice while at the GF, going to some character meals, Cirque du Soleil, hopefully an Illuminations cruise, and of course some nice sit-down dinners. Our honeymoon will be a little less romantic as we'll have our then 3 month old daughter with us and my mom to help out (though my mom will have her own room), so we have to plan around the baby somewhat, especially since I'll be breastfeeding (hopefully), but we hope to have some time alone, like for the cruise, meals, Cirque. We also plan to have breakfast at the castle, since it's princess themed and we feel it ties into the wedding, the one day where we can be essentially a prince and princess for a day, and of course we'll be taking our little princess all dressed up to that one too! I really think though, and this has become so much more clear to me after we found out we were pregnant (which was a surprise as we planned to start trying right after the wedding) is that anything you do, even just sitting in the hotel room together, will be special and romantic since you'll be spending time together. We just got back from a 5 day trip at AKL and for us it was so relaxing and fun because the whole time was just about us and doing what we wanted together, very different from our busy lives at home.

If youre planning a family, dont forget to take the trip you wont take with the kids later. Stay where you definately wouldnt stay with kids or switch resorts during your stay. Eat at odd times, or skip meals altogether. sleep in. Take a behind the scenes tour. make out in the middle of the lobby. sit on a bench (not while you wait for a parade)................Id kill just to ride a ride with my husband these days.

Splurge on a suite that has a nice big whirlpool/jacuzzi tub. ;) DVC 1-Bedroom Villas are huge suites with a full kitchen and that nice big jacuzzi right next to the Master Bedroom. Have room service breakfast or dinner. Pay for Turndown Service. Valet Park if you plan to have a car. Of course, wear the Mickey groom hat and Minnie bride veil.
Congrats.

Pick up a copy of "Walt Disney World for Couples" by Rick and Gayle Perlmutter. The best guide I've seen to the romantic side of Disney World. It's particularly great about describing the most romantic resorts and the most romantic rooms in those resorts.
