Romantic dinner - not V&A?

If you are not on the dining plan, you should look into Bull & Bear (Waldorf-Astoria), Capa (Four Seasons) and possibly bluezoo (Dolphin). They are the most probably the most romantic and "adult" restaurants other than V&A.

Jiko might be a good option, but i think to celebrate i would do cali grill and book it at a time where you can stay up there to watch the MK fireworks.

Capa is on the 17th floor of the Four Seasons and you can see fireworks from Epcot and Magic Kingdom, although the MK fireworks are much closer when viewed from CA Grill. However, Capa is much less likely to be hectic and noisy as CA Grill. As much as I enjoy dining there, CA Grill has a fair chance of being very UN-romantic.

If you do decide on California Grill, you don't have to time your reservation to coincide with the fireworks; if you dine earlier, you can return later for firework viewing. You just need to show your receipt at the host stand near the elevator.

Narcoossee
We celebrated our 25th there. I think it was the best dinner ever. Perfect table, perfect view, fantastic server and food

It was so perfect we. Haven't been back. It can never be that good again

My second favorite anniversary meal was yachtsman.

Thanks for the suggestions. They all sound wonderful. Now we're going through the menus to see what sounds best. I'll be able to make ressies in just 10 days.

Monsieur Paul in Epcot is hard to beat for romantic atmosphere, and we found the food delicious!

I agree with Narcoossee's ... it's just a beautiful venue and in the times I've been there, there is much less of a chance of children than there was at Cali Grill. This could just be because I've barely been to either, but I think Narcoossee's just doesn't hold the appeal for kids (being way up high to watch fireworks) as CA Grill.

I'm going to throw Shula's into the pool of options. We were there in September for an anniversary dinner, everything was great. Nothing really appealed to me on the menus and I know DH would have a harder time with the menus.

Second Bull & Bear. Outstanding steak. Great service.

Agree that Jiko would be a good option. Nice atmosphere and food.

The view from Capa is very nice. Weren't particularly impressed with to food, but the atmosphere is romantic. Agree that CG is really not romantic. Its loud and lives off its view.

Really good choice for an in-park meal.

Artist Point
That was going to be my first answer. Best if you go later in the evening for a quiet meal.

We went Artist Point on our honeymoon and will be going there in February for our 20 year anniversary. Jiko would be my second choice for a romantic dinner on property. I have not tried the off site places.

As much as I love California Grill it is just too loud to be romantic. We ate at Shula's and it was much better atmosphere and upscale service. They do not accept dining plan credits or MagicBands for payment but the service was great and seafood items I ate were top notch.

California Grill, Tiffins, or Sanaa - DW and I ate at all three on our 25th anniversary trip a couple summers ago and all were great!
