My husband and two kids( 9-5) will be going to Disney in sept. with an exchange student (20). My husband and I were planning a rommantic dinner but with free DDP we have decided to do alot of 2 TS shows and other fun things if we can get them on Monday when I can book. So - We really don't have a free night, but would love to go to a restraunt just the two of us to have a decacent dessert and coffee well after dinner time (9pm-12am).

Where do we go and what do we order? It can be any resort or park. We will pay out of pocket, but price is not too important.

All the TS serve places have wonderfull desserts. Where are you staying? Do you have a car? My choice for Romantic would be Artist Point, Calf Grill, Jiko, Citricos, Narcoosee's. Hollywood Brown derby, Chefs de france,

Kae

We are camping at Fort Wilderness (in a tent) - I am a little frightened! A tent for 9 nights :(. We have a car :) ! We will eat at artist point with the whole group. Do you think I could do the Hollywood Brown before the late fantasmic with the special seating if we only order dessert and coffee or other adult beverage? or do you have to eat "Dinner" is there a mininmum cost?

I will also be there in Sept w/ free DDP. We're celebrating our 10 year wedding anniversary -- and I was going nuts trying to decide where to book for our dinner...when I finally did decide (LeCellier) it was booked. So the disney rep suggesed the Yachtsmans steakhouse. I've never been there but the menu looks terriffic. Here's hoping!!!
Like the other poster said, all the restaurants have great desserts. My sister and her hubby did Spoodles on the Boardwalk and she raved about it. Maybe try there - - then you have the boardwalk to stroll --which can be awfully romantic at night w/ the lights glistening off the water.
Great question about wether or not you can do Brown Derby for dessert and still get the Fantasmic package... I'll be curious to see if anyone out there knows for sure...

By far I would say the slipper dessert. You can get it depending upon where you are staying from room service, of several places at MK.
