Could someone give me a referral for RTM ? I believe you get a discount if you know someone who has stayed there.

Also, did you enjoy it. The houses look beautiful. We're thinking of going this December with our girls.

Thanks

Have you stayed there yet? I'd love to know how you liked it. We're considering it for our next trip.

We stayed in one of their homes in June. Absolutely LOVED it! The home is beautiful, the resort is great and the owners provide outstanding service.
I already have reserved again for next summer. Feel free to PM me if you have any questions.

I was thinking about booking one of their homes but when I e-mailed them, they replied saying they are only booking from Sat. to Sat and that doesn't work for us.

I'm pretty sure you can book other than Sat to Sat. It's just less expensive if you choose the Sat to Sat option. Their website gives info about the prices for different options.

It's a recent change. According to Mark, they just made the decision to only rent Sat to Sat for 2007.

:)

We stayed with them in Nov. Loved the house, the resort and Mark and Holly!!
I would bet that if you are looking at a low season time that they don't have a lot of rentals they would be willing to work with you. I would highly reccomend them. To me it would even be worth changing your plans to Sat.-Sat. if you could. They are great and you wouldn't be dissapointed :thumbsup2

Thanks. I've got a requst into them. Just waiting to hear back.Which house did you rent?

We were planning on using them for our upcoming trip. We needed a place for 10 nights. I emailed them back in August of this year. According to their website they had availability at the house we wanted. We never heard from them. I believe I emailed them twice. No reply.

We wound up renting with someone else.

I've heard from them twice so far. Now I've got a real date and I'm just waiting to hear if it's available. The date we were originally talking about turned out to be the same week as our youth group choir tour at church.

We stayed in the 5 bedroom home.Sometimes it does take them a while to respond to you. Mark works for IBM and has been doing some traveling so some times it takes a bit longer for him to get back to you. They have a very laid back appoach to their business. They run it almost like a bed and breakfast. Good luck I hope you will be able to stay at one of their homes :thumbsup2

Does anyone know if the "Romancing the Mouse" homes have game rooms? It is definitely not a requirement for the home I choose but my kids have mentioned they'd like to have it and I don't see it mentioned on their website.

Thanks

thanks for the info mytymama.

It's been several days so I was a little worried.

I do not think any of the homes have game rooms. Our home did have a playstation2 and they have a big library of games to choose from. The clubhouse at windsor hills has a game room with video games and pool tables. It is very nice and only about a block away. You my not hear back from Mark until friday or the weekend but if you need to know right away email him back and tell him you need to hear from him. I would think he would respond.

I came thisclose to renting one of their houses last year. I really liked that every bedroom could have 2 twin beds or a king size bed. We had 3 couples and 4 kids and the bed size flexibility was perfect for us. So many of the houses had Queen size beds in the 2nd or 3rd bedrooms and none of the adults wanted the smaller bed. I was dragging my feet about making a reservation and then Free Dining was offered when we were going in late August and we ended up in 4 rooms at Pop Century. I kinda missed having the opportunity to stay in a big house with a private pool, but free food won out.
