I need ideas about the romantic side of Chicago. I'm planning a romantic weekend for my guy's birthday at the end of March. I did some research today and Mary Poppins is playing that weekend, so I'm going to work on getting great seats for the Saturday night show... but for Friday night... for those of you that know Chicago... where is a romantic spot that the rest of the tourists might not know about?

Bump... isn't anyone from Chicago on the CB?? :confused3

If you're in Chicago on a clear night, have a drink at Signatures, the restaurant/bar on top of the John Hancock building. The view is breathtaking.

I always like to go to Geja's Cafe for fondue with my hubby. It's in the Lincoln Park neighborhood.

Hope you get some more ideas! Enjoy!

I've only been to Chicago twice. I thought strolling along the water at the Navy Pier is very nice (I don't know about during winter, it might be very very cold). Dinner cruise would be nice. You dock from Navy Pier. I never ate at the top of John Hancock building but it's a very nice gesture. The view is breathtaking up there (at the observatory).

How about taking a double decker bus tour? I don't know if they run during winter. There's lots of infos that we never knew until we took this tour. It was great!

Enjoy Chicago.. It is a beautiful city.

Go to the Walnut Room in Marshal Field's (now Macy's  ). It's a beautiful restaurant with great food. Then take a carriage ride around the city.

Have a great time! I miss Chicago!

Michelle :flower3:
