Romance At Sea Add on?

Calling all Land & Sea'ers.

Anyone ever done this? It's $599 to add on to our package and comes with a whole load of things that I'm sure you are all aware of. I'm particularly interested in the pre-boarding Palo and Spa reservations which I was told are also included (but not listed).

Do you think its worth it for everything you get?

I purchased it from DCL at 1-800-511-1333 for $299 for me and DW! This include the Palos reservation and the $10 fee, a massage for the couple, a basket of goodies, turndown service with rose petals and breakfast. There are some good posts that explain it better and pictures. Hope this helps. Also check out the web page for clubcastaway.com (i think)

to do this do you have to know your room assignment? How long before or how close to the sail date do you want to do this?

I know from a "hard lesson learned" that you CAN NOT add the romantic escape at sea pkg ($299) to a land and and sea package. If you purchased a land/sea package together then you have to purchase the romance pkg ($599). I went around and around with Disney about this and got nowhere. The $599 pkg includes "perks" on land and at sea. I did end up with the $599 pkg and am excited about the things included but am having a difficult time trying to fit in all the land "perks" in just 3 days.

Debbie just asked for our main reservation number.I called monday and we sail on May 22. We were able to get Palos and the massage on our first full day at sea. We get to chose our breakfast in bed day after we board via a card in our room. This means that we can skip the ressie rush and just have fun when we board. Hope this helps.

We didn't want to do the $599 package for both the land/sea. We contacted our TA and she was able to book the REAS for $299. She didn't think that she would be able to, but Disney didn't give her any issues. Our TA is through DU.
