ROLR? Just curious

If we are planning a last minute trip, I'm always just grateful that I can find a room somewhere.

However, CFW would be at the bottom of my list. No washer/dryer and not interested in staying in a resort that it's recommended to rent a golf cart to get around.

Next would be BRV and CCV because I like to stay at resorts that I can walk to either Disney Springs or a park. I don't mind relying on Disney transportation for some things, just not everything. The only exception are the cabins at CCV. We try to stay there at least once a year and it's more of getaway. Plus the cabin is simply amazing.

Staying at VGF in a few months with my wife, but I suspect it will be one and done because of the point charts and our preference for RIV.
ha. We bought RIV before it opened and I heard it described as a cross between BLT/VGF in the Epcot/HS area. That was a head scratcher until we stayed there - the things you like about RIV are definitely present at VGF, especially if you are in the Villas building. I haven't stayed in the new studios before, and probably won't ever. OG Villas 4eva.

Close call but probably AK Lodge would be last - just too cut off from everything with busses as the only option to get anywhere on Disney Transportation, or taking my own car everywhere. Love the theming if I go with Jambo, not as keen on Kidani...but the disconnect is the biggest issue for me.

Second to last probably Riviera and Grand Floridian as a near-tie...mostly because I just don't feel the points are worth it compared to other choices.

BLT is down on the list for similar reasons...mostly down to point value - but also for having the least theming - just a big hotel tower. Poly would be next - again, points - it's only higher than BLT and Grand Floridian because I just love the peaceful grounds and theming of the place more than the other two.

Beach Club would be next - mostly because it makes almost no sense for me to stay there when Boardwalk is my home resort, I can book farther out, and it generally costs less points to boot. But it has the same great positives as Boardwalk - I just rarely pick it because Boardwalk is home.

Copper Creek next - I generally prefer the more quiet and privateness of Boulder RIdge as most CC rooms face other buildings...but Wilderness Lodge's theming has always been a favorite.

OKW is next - love the big rooms and quiet, and boat to DS, with all the theme parks requiring busses being the biggest downside.

Then Boulder Ridge - beautiful theming, boat to MK, but busses everywhere else. Cabins at FW edge out Boulder mostly because of the tremendous point value, plus renting a golf cart to tool around, and the way laid back feel of staying there - same transportation ups and downs otherwise.

Saratoga makes it to 2nd best - good points value, Congress Park section rooms have a lovely view, and it has the best selection of foods of any resort, since Disney Springs is a quick walk away with dozens of choices. Side perk is I can use the resort busses, or walk to DS and use their busses to get to various resorts and theme parks.

Boardwalk is the favorite - the reason I bought there - walking access to Epcot, with a bonus for walking access to DHS too, plus easy access walking to 5 other resorts, and Skyliner connection to 4 more.
