My husband and I just got back from Universal and we LOOOOOOVED the Hulk Coaster as well as many other coasters....but I noticed that few older people ride these??? We are in our early 40's do we have an expiration date for riding coasters:confused: Do older people enjoy them or will we gradually move onto something else:eek:

Well, my husband and I are both 53 and really love coasters. We were just there today and go almost weekly.

My theory, old people who ride coasters not only "think young" but actually look younger, so they may be 50 and look 30. ;) Maybe that is just wishful thinking but that's my story and I'm stickin' to it.

I told the people on the IOA central board that, in a few years, when they see an eighty year old couple hobbling onto Hulk with their cane and walker, that will be us!

I am 54 and LOVE the coasters. When I've been at Universal, I've been with a friend who will NOT ride coasters. I get up and go the park when it opens and ride the coasters for an hour or two and then we meet. I usually wind up riding with local teenagers and we get along wonderfully!

I'm just a youngster (43--lol), but my 60yo sister and I rode IoA many times when we were there last year. I can't imagine either of us giving up that ride (or ToT) until we can't hobble up to get on.

I'm 45 and still do all the coasters at all tha parks.

We visit at least 1 park a week since we now have WDW passes and Santa brought us IOA-USF passes.

My 74-year-old father rode Ice with us last December and my 70-year-old mother plans to ride Hulk the very next time they get to Orlando-maybe this weekend!

I hope I will still be riding at their age, too!

No expiration date for coaster lovers.....only for the nerve to ride them.;)

I'm 52 and do the COASTERS - Love the Hulk.

On a Disney note - my aunt did the Test Track at EPCOT with us in July - SHE's 86 YEARS OLD and LOVED it!

I hope I'm riding the Test Track when I'm 86 years old!!!!!

I have to agree with Bev..... those who act younger do stay younger longer..therefore we look younger. I am 47 & when I am at the guess your age booths at US & IOA, they always say 35-37!!! I plan on going on coasters until I can no longer physically do it.... (hope for another 40 years :sunny: )

I've seen you, Mickeyfan, and you don't even look 35. I would guess your age at 25 years old. You truly look incredibly young! Next time, you're at Universal give me a holler and I'll meet you at MIB to kick some alien butt.

Hey thanks for that compliment..... I WAS supposed to be there this coming weekend. Kids are off of school on Monday, but....my son is getting all 4 of his impacted wisdom teeth out tomorrow...needless to say I will not be coming up .. I have to be a nice Mommy & stay home with him. I may be up around Presidents weekend.... that is the next 3 day weekend. Trust me.... I will let you know.... & Fly-Fly too....:wave2:

antmaril-

86???? That is great. I love that. I hope to be that way when I reach that great age.:D

Yes, 86 - she is amazing. We had so much fun with her on that ride - we couldn't stop laughing. It was her daughter (my cousin), my aunt and me in the car on Test Track. The children (teens) rode in another car. Every once in a while she would open her eyes and then she would kind of squeal. She wasn't screaming, she was just burying her head in her daughter's shoulder and yelling "OOOOHHHHH" in a high pitched voice. We had the best time. I think she has to be the oldest person to ever ride the Test Track!!!!

My goal is to follow in my aunt's footsteps!!
