Just a quick question for anyone that has had a roll in shower room. I know that most of the rooms are kingsize beds and im aware of the accomidations that they make for you if you have more than 2 people.. But this year we will have 5 of us.. Will I need to book 2 seperate rooms? we are looking at cbr. thanks.

I don't know about CBR...

But the HA rooms (with roll in shower) at the Poly sleep five quite comfortably (they have 2 queen sized beds and a full size daybed... along with plenty of floor space for WC/ECV). You may want to keep that in mind, and compare costs of a single room at the Poly with two rooms at CBR, if they don't have a room that can accomidate all five of you over there.

Just looking at your signature- it would be four and an infant in a pack and play thingy- which can all fit in a non roll in shower room. Therefore, they will probably make the accommodation you are thinking about. HTH.

If you are going to have more than the capacity of the room you will have to book two or more rooms.

With the exception of the Villas (one bedroom or larger), Contemporary, Polynesian, Grand Floridian, some of Port Orleans, and the All-Stars Family Suites, no room can hold more than four people. Since you will have five people and are looking at CBR you must book two rooms. This has to do with all reservations and not just accessible rooms.

If you are within the capacity limits for a room and all the people cannot be accommodated because of the accessible features Disney will do something about it.

My mother inlaw will be coming as well.

very good idea .. thanks.

Don't mean to hijack the thread, but this looks like a good place to ask another question related to 5 in a room and the roll in shower units!
We have booked POR for April, four on our reservation plus an infant. Special reservations has already reserved our roll-in shower room and has already confirmed that "our whole family will be acomodated". My husband is joining us a couple of days into the trip. We could not afford another POR room when we booked and knew he was coming late and leaving early, so he was planning to stay at an off-site CHEAP hotel and driving over to us every day.
However, since Disney is "accomodating" our family, do you think we will be able to just add him to the reservation once he arrives? The rest of us are booked on a package deal as we needed park tickets and also we have the meal plan. Anyone ever done this or been in this situation? If he has to stay off-site, that's okay, but since we will now have legal room for him can't we just have him added?
TIA
Angela

I would just wait until at least the day after you have checked in and then discuss the situation with the front desk. That way you will have already have gotten settled in and seen what accommodations you have. And I think they will do what they can to make it work.
