Hi guys! I may be going back to the World September / October time with my mother (not completely sure, though), and have a quick question. What do you do if there are 2 people in a wheelchair-accessible room, but they'd rather not share a bed?
Having the roll-in shower made my life sooo much easier last trip, and it saved me from the pain and fatigue of getting into a tub, so I'd really like to have one again, if possible. The room we were in last time only had 1 bed in it, but I was with the fella then, so it didn't matter. Now that I'm going with my mother, it's a different story, as she probably won't be so tollerant of me kicking her in the night
. I know that they will always provide enough bedding for the group, but as there would only be 2 of us, 1 double bed would technically be enough. However, if I were able-bodied, we'd be in a standard room with 2 beds - 1 each.
Do either of the PO resorts (preferably FQ) have roll-in showers in rooms with 2 beds? If so, has anyone ever tried putting in a special request for this, and did it work? If necessary, I could just about cope without a roll-in shower, but my trip would be a lot more relaxed with one. I'm not trying to get an extra room - in fact, it would be a lot easier just to have one - but I don't want to disturb my mother's sleep when she's supposed to be relaxing.
All help and advice gratefully received!
