Somebody out there lookin for a lawyer? You'd think I had a sign outside my office last week advertising a special for adultry cases. Got three new divorce/adultry cases just last week.

We'll be leaving early Saturday morning flight. Got court all day Friday, nothing but child abuse cases.

Things are really scary around here with the sniper. We're in Southern Maryland (about 1/2 hour outside of D.C.) People are afraid to get gas. School activities and outside sport events are cancelled for Lorde knows how long. Hope they get that guy soon.

I'm not sure, but I think it was Northwest. I told Mom we better not let Barb book the flights anymore. she's a wonderful planner but.......the first airline she booked went bankrupt and we lost our money. Then the second booking she did is the one that changed their flights via a message on Barb's answering machine and then today.....

Sandy II - stay safe. Keep watching the news, praying that they get whoever is doing this. The world is a crazy place.

I've been wathcing the atlantic to see if there are any storms brewing. I don't think so, but I wonder if I am reading things right. Anyone with better info?

The time is ticking by. Can't believe it is almost here. Look forward to meeting everyone & putting faces with personalities.

We'll be leaving town early Saturday morning. Expect to board ship between 1-2 p.m. Hope there's still Palos ressies when we arrive.

Really looking forward to leaving town. We're only 1/2 hour outside of D.C. in southern Maryland where the sniper shootings are occurring. Pretty bad when school recesses are inside only, when there's no outside activities (soccer cancelled) and you're afraid to pump gas into your car. Hope they get that guy soon.

Strissel sounds like you really need this trip! It has to be pretty scary around there. I know I'd be very careful getting gas. That is on sick person! Let's hope that they get him real soon! It is that type of sick person who won't stop until the end. Let's just hope it is only one person!

Patty, tell Barb to plan everything and you will take care of the flights or find someone else who will. hehe! Garry does all the flight booking around here. He can always find the best deals! He got tickets for only $150 round trip from Cleveland to Orlando. I didn't think that was too bad! He is great with a computer!

Strissel, I'm so sorry you are having to go through all of that stress! You SO deserve this vacation!

I've noticed that the posting hang up is often that the 'thank you for posting' page hits a block, but that the post did go thru. If you hit reload right away, it might say that you can't post more frequently that 60seconds, which means that it went through. At the first "not responding" message, I just go to our thread again (not with back button, but by re-selecting it so that is reloaded), and I see my post. I wonder if there is also another problem that hasn't happened to me? I'll bet I made absolutely NO sense! LOL

I've saved the planning for our next trip for when we return. It's renting an RV and doing Mesa Verde, at the four corners area of the four states(Colo, UT,Zone and NewMex) I don't think I'll be so lucky as to find a message board for a Durango campground .
Maybe I can start one!!! Hey, anyone want to join us ??

You chose early dinning right? I'd have to go back and look through several pages, so forgive if you have answered this question before, were you one of the families that were weighing the pros ad cons of the late seating? If you wanted to change the time, I believe that once on board you can request a changeif there is availability. We did the back and forththing on our first cruise, and believe it or not, times FLYS on board and really you aren't starving at the late seating. There is food EVERYWHERE!

That's good. Because my daughter is always hungry from about 2:00 on. I think the early will work out, since my kids will want to do the clubs on a few evenings. We're looking forward to 'eating'out' in the restaurants together, so I wouldn't want to feed them quickie food to get them to the evening club activities that they want. I'm new at this, so I may rethink it if there's a next time. I'm very happy that the earlier times got stopped before our sail date. That would have been too, too early, instead of maybe just too early.
