Hi Darren. If I didn't have kiddos along, I'd do the kayak in a heart beat. Did you call (1-877-566-0968) and see what's still available before getting your heart set on anything? I'm such an obsessive planner, I couldn't have waited this long. Heck, I've already gotten a couple of hundred worth of enjoyment just in the 'being excited' state, with all of these nice fellow cruisers! I know that will backfire on me when I return home to my 'old' life.
Oh well. I'll just have to start planning our next trip. (I have held off making motorhome ressies for our summer trips, just to have something to plan upon return)

Ugghhh!!!!!! Just found out that Jerry's mom is having her gallbladder out next Wednesday, 2 days before we leave. Please pray that nothing goes wrong.

If she's in good shape and they do it with a scope she'll be fine! I had mine out and was picking up kids by the next morning. I asked the darling Dr. not to blow me up too big with air, as I've heard that the streatching from that, is what hurts the most. I told him that since he was SO skilled, that he didn't really need that much room to see things. LOL I think it worked.
Plenty of prayers her way, just to be sure.

Home from work. I think we all need this vacation. Richard out of the way... SImmons that is... now I get to eat a 4 point dinner. Lucky me.

Denine let's hope all goes well with Jerry's mom. Unfortunately being a nurses we know all that can happen. Oh to be non-medical! I'm sure she'll be fine.

I don't know about you all but I am getting in stress mode now. I keep thinking of everything that needs doing and the lack of time. I can't wait till we're on board and I can relax-well my kind of relax-going, going, going!

Beth-I believe you have won the booby prize. Congrats on your docs! I thought about you all weekend and wondered.

Darren-Palo's has the best desserts! If you don't want to eat there stop up and see if you can get some to go. I think soneone else on these boards posted that they did that without a problem! We will be doing the brunch , dinner and Tea (of course being from the UK I guess tea is no big deal for you!) Wow it's around midnight there isn't it! EW-jet lag YUK! Not bad going in your direction but coming home to the US is tough!

Back from work and homework hell with Turner! Did I say that??? Yes, I did. Am I carrying on a conversation with myself? Yes, I am. Do I need a vacation? You bet ya!!!!!!

OK, my turn to gripe about something!!! Paul called about tuxes last week to make sure they had white dinner jackets for children as well as adults. He and Turner want to do the big fancy thing!! After telling them what cruise line, the date we sail, and the port, the lady put him on hold to check the inventory and told him no problem for the kids. They have sizes 4-18.

So after getting them measured this weekend, I call today to order the tuxes and what does MELISSA tell me?????? That they do not offer the white dinner jacket package for the Disney cruise line for children. She also said no one else was there to talk to about it. SO, needless to say, I am waiting until tomorrow morning and trying again. Maybe, someone with a medium sized brain will answer the phone and check the inventory again and tell me that this is a go. If all else fails, I guess they can go with classic black, but I know they will be disappointed (and so will I).

You know, I don't feel any better after getting all that out. But, thanks for letting me gripe anyway! At least it will help the thread count!

Hello All -- It's me, Sandy II, a/k/a Sandy the lurker. Say what? I've got some 5 posts out of this K thread?

Like everyone else, I'm stressed with work. Whose got time to pack? Too little time to get things done between work, housekeeping chores, soccer practice, etc.

Went shopping over the weekend to some outlet stores. Found a few lime green tee-shirts, decent looking as far as lime green goes. Only $4.99, but couldn't force myself to dole out the cash to pay for it. Just can't do the green thing. Guess I'll shop for a ribbon this weekend. Gotta buy wine too. Did buy some new luggage though. Old luggage, circa 1977, was discentagrating (sp?).
