Just opened my credit card bill!!! I had them put my parents cruise on my accounts too, so I thought I was prepared. It still made my eyes bulge to see the total! But hey, you only live once.

I told my husband about the lime green. You said "no way. you've got to be kidding!" He said he would look like the jolly green giant. ( He is 6'5 ) I can usually talk him into anything, but not this time. I am going to look this weekend in St. Louis. Going to a baseball game. GO Cardinals!

Thanks Lori and Garry for your concerns and encouragement. The doctor said that arthroscopy will probably be down the road but NOT before the trip. The reason my knee buckles is that there is probably a "floaty" that gets in the way. So- how are you doing today, Garry?

Actually Lori, when we did the Disney air it DID take that long. Fortunately, we didn't know the difference back then.

Lime green is a tropical color, everyone wants to be tropical on a cruise, hence everyone is wearing lime green. I will be wearing the lime green shirt and have ribbons, but I won't be in the terminal, hopefully, as long as we get to stay on the ship. We should be lounging around somewhere wondering "what took all of you guys so long to get here?"

We booked our 10-12 cruise through DVC, our 10-19 cruise, we booked on board last year and transferred it to our TA.

Sandy: At least you won't have to have surgery for a while!

Went to Wal-Mart and found NO SUMMER STUFF left. Yikes.
Will have to get floats and such in Orlando.
Did go all out today and get new tennies for Clare and Myself. Waaaa Hoooo.
It's the little things in life.
Had to get them at a discount shoe store since I too have received the final bills for this soiree.

I can't wait to see all the lime green. I actually look awful in the color so this is a sacrifice for me! I don't have red hair but I have the complexion.

Count me in as one of the "lurkers". It seems that out of the 600+ messages on this line of discussion, I've got four of them. But what the heck, I, too am after the prize. No docs here yet either. Booked before we disembarked from last year's October cruise through DCL. They're booking our air out of Baltimore, so I'll probably get them a week to 10 days prior.

Kinda jealous Beth, I'm from St. Louis and really love it there! One of my favorite things was going to the baseball games! I was in college (Univ. Missouri-Rolla) when Ozzie was playing so it was pretty exciting (did I just date myself?). Cleveland was pretty good when we were there 4-5 years ago and Toronto, well, is BAD!

Sue, we booked through DVC so wondering if you'll get yours first since you live in US? Am actually going to the Disney store to get kids' copy of Monsters, Inc. today -- need to get there before they run out of Princess flashlights -- of course that means I have to spend more than just the movie -- oh what to buy???

Not holding my breath for any upgrades -- we have connecting cabins so that pretty much rules us out! oh well, not in the cabin long enough to care.......

Talked to DCL yesterday about the pool thing. Since Annika is three I wanted to make sure it wasn't restricted by age! The CM was pretty HAPPY I wasn't complaining to her She told me they won't restrict by age but by who was "clean"? I don't see them being too strict right now anyway......

Not sure these green capris fit me -- accidently put them in the dryer and they have a lot of spandex in them! If my thighs would cooperate I wouldn't have a problem!!!!!

My dh and I met in St. Louis. We both went to school at Washington University back in the early 70's, talk about old!! It was kinda funny. I signed up for a coed dorm, and my parents were fine with that because back then all the coed dorms were coed by every other floor. Well, August comes around with my dorm assignment and I found out that all the dorms were coed by room. There were 15 guys and 15 gals on each floor sharing 2 bathrooms. My parents were alittle surprised but said that they trusted me.BIG MISTAKE. They had read an article in Time that said all the relationships were like brother and sister. Since Wash. U. was the second school to do this, it was still very new. Well, I met my dh the second night of school, he was a senior, and lived 5 doors down. Brother and sister, right???


I'm dreaming for an upgrade since our docs are taking so long, a gal can dream!

Did anyone get more than one ship board credit? We got $100 from the travel agent we booked with. But we are also are members of the Disney Club & they offer $50. When I asked my travel agent she told me you could only get one credit. Is this true? I have had some problems with my travel agent, so I am not totally incline to believe her.

This has been a heated discussion on the boards.
Personally, we have a booking credit with DU and the AMEX package credit.
Called DU to make sure all of this was going through and she said it was a go.
This is a travel agent credit though, versus a Disney credit, don't know if this is different.

Beth, as long as the TA is a separate entity from Disney, I they can both be applied. I know that when the REF code credit was in discussion, I learned that things like the (now gone) castaway club credit, the re-booking on board credit and the first timers(REF) credit and DVC credits could not be combined because they were all from Disney. You can only take advantage of ONE Disney (source) credit. If the money really comes from the TA, like it's a percentage of the commission then they can add money to your KTTW account just like anyone else might as a gift. But, if the TA's credit is actually coming from Disney, than maybe it can't be combined. I THINK! Try that angle anyway. Boy have I been learning the hard way, just how important a good TA is to have.
