What business??? It was ME silly! Just went back to that old name to reply to the way old thread that I'd started so long ago. Actually, that was my first post, the day I discovered these boards!

Hey, I heard back from the dolphin place near St. Martin. Web site is http://www.dolphinfantaseas.com/
$105. each, 5yrs and up, rather involved transport to Aguilla, however. They are currently working with DCL, on creating an Official DCL Excursion for this place, maybe that would make it easier. So far, unless a group is already organized, you need to do individual bookings thru shoretrips.com
They sent me a picture of their beach, and a download of the brochure - very tempting. Let me know if you want me to email it to you. I'm not decided yet, as we might just do it at SeaWorld next month.
Hey Sandy, check your PM's! You have your email access (thru the boards) turned off.

I laughed at this one, cause this is SO like something I would have done!
:) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)
I left Montreal heading toward Quebec City, when I decided to stop at a comfort station. The first stall was occupied, so I went into the second one. I was no sooner seated than I heard a voice from the next stall:

"Hi, how are you doing?"

Well, I am not the type to chat with strangers in highway comfort stations, and I really don't know quite what possessed me, but anyway, I answered, a little embarrassed:

" Not bad."

And the stranger said: "And, what are you up to?"

Talk about your dumb questions! I was really beginning to think this was too weird! So I said:

" Well, just like you I'm driving east."

Then, I heard the stranger, all upset, say, "Look, I'll call you back, there's some idiot in the next stall answering all the questions I am asking you."

Osborne Lights go up around Thanksgiving in the MGM backlot. Actually, the "New York" street has them too. It has tons and tons of Christmas lights and is a walking tour after hours. Unbelievably spectacular. They have "snowflakes". They also hand out 3D glasses so you can see angels flying. I can't remember the specifics but a family used to put up tons of lights at their home for Christmas and the neighbors complained and had them shut off. I believe the Osborne family donated to WDW their display. I Kept reading on the boards don't miss, don't miss and never checked into what it was. Curiosity got the cat and I clicked in on one of the threads and so glad I did.

The Osborne lights are definitely a must-see!! They are spectacular.

I think I need to start weaning myself from the boards. It's frightening to think of all the other things I could have gotten done in the time I spent reading! And when I talk (in person) to people, I find myself wishing I could insert various smileys into my comments. LOL Well, it got me off my previous addiction at least. That was playing hearts on MSN.
Hey, that's what we should all do! Plan a specific time to sign into the Jack of Diamonds-Hearts room and play hearts together while talking about the cruise! Haahaa, that would just about send my husband over the edge. (well, if he knew ... shhhh) http://zone.msn.com/hearts

Hope you all had a good weekend! I am really dreamin' about that cruise. It is only 48 outside and it is raining. Yuck!!!!!!!!!!

We're in drought mode here and got a WONDERFUL, much needed rain. It was light but of long duration. Soaked in rather than just running down hill. Now for one of those every week!
I have to put in the vegetable garden today.
Hi to everyone! Lori

Hello to everyone...

BEAUTIFUL here today after intense storms this weekend.

Happy happy Mother's Day to all of us...HeeHee!!

Off to San Diego in 10 days for 2-weeks, you know the funny thing is that it has snuck up on me since I am addicted to THIS board.

Will give big hugs and love to Shamu for all.

Krista

Hi everyone! Nothing new with me, just checking in. Hope everyone had a great Mother's Day. I sure did! We are off for a 2 week camping trip. Probably won't see much of me this summer as we normally camp every weekend and I seem to use the other days for laundry, packing etc. I will continue to check in periodically to see how everyone is doing. Happy Summer to all! Sandy and Ted

My family is looking forward to our second Disney Cruise on 10/19. Took the 4-day carribean last October and reserved for 2002 before we got off the boat. Just my husband, me and our most wonderful 5 year old son. I've already got my eye out for sales for new clothing to wear on the trip.

Hey! Are any of the guys on this cruise adverse to wearing a tux on formal nights? Please advise.

Hello, and welcom to our fun thread.
We are really getting to know each other and our fellow cruisers.
Feel free to catch up and join in the fun.
We will be cruising with husband and 3-year-old daughter.
This is also our second cruise with Disney, our first the 3-nighter, and so looking forward to 7-nights. We are doing MK for 1 day before.

Welcome!
Krista

I'd like to welcome you also. I will have a 6 yr old daughter who will be with your son in the clubs! This will be our 2nd 7 day cruise with Disney. Didn't rent tuxes the first time but since my DParents are joining us and my Dad likes to dress up, I might consider it. DH will wear whatever I tell him to - LOL.
Just back from a whirlwind trip to St. Louis for a family wedding. Drove 14 hrs. there on Friday, wedding Sat. and drove 14 hrs. back on Sunday. Needless to say, we are all pretty exhausted. It sure was fun though and we got to see our family! yea!!! Gave my parents the new DCL brochure, their confirmation letter and news about their $50 on board credit! It was fun!
Better go finish up the laundry - ugh.
Happy belated Mother's Day to all
:) :)

Hi Strissel! So glad you popped in! I was starting to wonder where everyone else is? There must be more Dis boarders on our cruise.
I don't know about the tux. The last time I saw my DH in a tux, it was our wedding:) He looks great in an ivory jacket/ black pants tux, but not in all dark colors. Plus, we're really cheap!!!
I think the ivory jacket is too bright for evening formal, do you all agree? Have you vets seen anything but dark jackets on formal night?
Looks like the 5 and 6 year old gang is growing. Let's see, that's Alina, Cody, DVC Lady's Leena and Strissel's DS.

It's gonna be fun!

My DEAR H, just bought the kids dirt bikes (50 and 70cc motors). Denine, you're a nurse... just how many heart attacks can I live thru without permanent damage? (I've been riding since I was a teen, but it's SO different seeing your own kids out there zooming over bumps, just missing trees etc.)
Now we have weekend camping + dirt bike riding. Talk about laundry!

My father in law wore a white tux jacket with black pants and he looked great! We are pretty cheap too but I might splurge this time for a tux for DH and DS. Haven't thought about it alot.
Dirt bikes uh? OOOOOOHHHHHH MAAAAAAAAN!!!!! I just cringe thinking about it

Hi Strissel and WELCOME! This is our 3rd Disney cruise and it will be DH and myself. Tux????? We are like Lori--too cheap. We have contemplated it but haven't made a final decision. My gosh, Diana. You must be exhausted! I hate those marathon drives. Seeing the family does make it better! Dirt bikes??? That is why we had girls. Yea! We leave tomorrow. Packing the 5th wheel today. Yuck--I hate repacking after winter. I know I will forget something.

You guys have been chatty in the last couple of days!
Welcome Strissel!

Sounds like everyone is going to have a busy summer!

DH owns a tux. He will be wearing it. He wore it 4 times on our Panama Cruise. I have seen plenty of white dinner jackets.

What cd most gets you in the mood to cruise?

A lot has been said about Back to the Beat and Steel Drum music, but what about good old Jimmy Buffett. He has a new cd out, it's fun.

But Krista ... when are we NOT in the mood for a cruise???

Maybe I should get that "Beauty and the Beat" cd. Katie has a Radio Disney cd that has some really funky fun songs on it. I wonder if any are the same. Love Jimmy Buffett, and I own a steel drum! (can't play it too well ...:( but it sounds and looks darn cool LOL:D )

I am always in the mood to cruise, especially Disney style!:Pinkbounc
DH hates Jimmy Buffet. I don't know why, he just does. I always sing louder when I hear one :p

Where is everyone? Todays high was 45 degrees! Plus wet snow! This is the normal high for March 12th! Ugghhh!!!
Please keep my sweet Ollie in your thoughts. We had him to the vet today for a tracheal wash. He keeps coughing and we don't know why. They took a bunch of samples to send to the lab. We won't know anything for a few days. It may be asthma. It may also be heartworms. I didn't even know cats could get heartworms. It is looking more like asthma though. He acts perfectly normal, not sick at all. I just want to find out what the problem is.
