****July 2026 Thread****

We'll be trying Boardwalk for the first time (neither Yacht nor Beach were available and we wanted to be on Crescent Lake for Epcot access) July 11-20, which will be our longest Disney trip ever. We'll be celebrating both kids birthdays while there (one is turning 13, one is turning 16) and our 20th wedding anniversary!

Anyone else not looking forward to purchasing airline tickets with fuel prices skyrocketing 😬
Ugh, I just booked ours because I realized the middle-of-the day flights were beginning to sneak up in price, which meant the redeyes were likely to follow....$425 RT each on SW for the week of July 4th and the following week. I was hoping it would get discounted to more like the $200-$350 fares I'm seeing for May but the price doesn't seem to be going anywhere but up.

I hate not being able to take advantage of a sale but we are more or less locked in to our dates, so oh well. I'll console myself by thinking about how much more comfortable we will be on Southwest than on Frontier or Spirit!

I'm moving over here from the June 2026 thread...turned out DH's work has a blackout for all PTO requests for Q2 of this year, so I had to move our 7 night, 6 park day package at Pop Century booked with the Buy 4 Get 2 Free deal. I rebooked for July, but couldn't get Pop, womp womp. However, silver lining - I managed to leverage some credit card free nights plus the Disney+ discount deal and am now staying 5 nights at the Swan and 2 nights at Animal Kingdom Lodge for the same price as 7 nights at Pop!

I am thinking we might save some money (about $600, at least) and do the 4-Park Magic ticket so we have lots of time to enjoy the beautiful resorts we are staying in. Is anyone else thinking of taking advantage of this promo this summer? I am a rope-drop-to-close person at heart but I'll be traveling with DH and my 4 year old and they probably will want a slower pace.

We stayed at Swan for a few nights last summer. Nice resort...hardly any disney theming and they nickel and dime you with parking but we liked it. The main pool had a waterfall which the boy loved...can't beat the boat (directly to HS snd the first stop from HS) and the Boardwalk is right there so lack of theming didn't matter.
My family amd I love to hop and we usually end up in epcot most nights to close it so that deal didn't make sense for us...however i wonder if you could upgrade them when at the resort?
We did take advantage of the buy 4 days get 2 free promotion however. Happy planning!
