Denine, did you get shore excursion information from the cruise you booked with points? We still haven't recieved any info and I really wanted to take the brochure (or whatever they send) with us to my Dad's. We are leaving Friday 6am so hopefully I'll get something by then. If not....... oh well.......

I am SOOOOOO ready (if you don't believe me just ask my kids!!! LOL)

We will definitely be there! Day of departure is when we plan on wearing the T shirts so you can't miss us. Of course I plan on being first in line to book all the Palo's happenings. I had # 1 last cruise so I have a goal to meet. ANy recommendations on Excursions? I like the looks of the Lagoon Kayaking but I've seen some mention of the catamaran adults only. See you all there!

Oh, oh, Dudette. Are you my competition? We were first on our last cruise to book Palo's and to board. Actually, this time we are laying low and whatever happens, happens.

Just wondering how many of us booked through DU. I am doing research on beaches. Any advice? As you all know, we would take a taxi if we do it at all--no excursions planned. Magen's Bay sounds good in St. Thomas (according to Dave from Marietta) Just thought that I would be prepared in case we get bored.

Yes, We did receive the shore excursion pamphlet for the cruise we booked with points.

I am SO glad I discovered these boards. I didn't recieve any excursion info from my USAA travel agent or even the information that I could book in advance. I called and they said that they don't forward on, any type of information like that. (At least I get 5% cash back by booking with them ) If not for these boards, I'd be saying "Oh, jee, if only I had known" through most of the cruise!

Thank you all for the terrific welsome. One thing, and I am not complaining but could someone fill me in on the planned parties? I started to search through the 25 page WOW! of this post but I am getting a stiff back! It's late and I'm whining. I am sorry. Because of you all I am getting soooo excited about this trip. I am driving everyone crazy with my excitement, that is usually up to Disney Dudette # 2 but I have caught the fever now.
What do we need to bring? Are we allowed to bring wine from home? Believe it or not New Jersey does have some wineries so I thought we could bring some of the local in addition to others.

The DU in the first Dudette was a typo not Disney Unlimited. SOrry.

Sailaway meet on 10 forward, and then on Sunday at 2:00 the wine party on deck 7's 'secret verandah' (go thru some unmarked door way aft, I understand)

Hi guys, just got back from a shopping trip to Mervyn's and saw somewhat lime green shirts (or close enough) on clearance. They had Adult polos (5.00)and t's (3.00). I am just not brave enough to wear that color. My dad always told me with my red hair that green makes me look like a Christmas tree. Just thought that if anyone was interested you can check your store (if you have one). Going camping now. Have a good weekend! Lori, let me know about your plane flights. I will look for you at DIA. Krista, I have a funny feeling that it is just you and I that booked through DU. Was wondering if we qualify for the free gift.

Hey, did you all see my thread about the dining times. I can't get a real answer. WDWIG's page had a press release stating that the times had changed permanently. Yet, castaway club cast member stated that on our ship, only until Sept. 28/
They do keep pushing back the trial though, if that's the case.
We'll see. I don't want to eat at 4:30 (our time), yikes.

Sandy, I'll get the flight info at 30 days prior to sailing (yadda, yadda) So I'll let you know when I know. I need to be sure and call the airline for seating assignments at that time too! Remember our luck with a previous flight spreading us all over the plane?
Hi everyone. I'm making wine this weekend. I inherited my step-dad's beer making equipment and there wasn't much more to buy, so the cherries and grapes from the yard are getting well used. (I hope) If it's not too horrible without enough aging, I'll bring a sample on the cruise for our wine party. Don't worry, I'll also bring something decent!

Hi all!
We had a busy weekend. Jerry took Friday off and we went down to Amish Country. We bought the wine here. It is really good!
Yesterday we went to Cedar Point and today we went to the ball game where I got my arms sunburned.
Tomorrow it is back to work.

What are the new dining times supposed to be? 4:30 PM for early dining? Yuck!!! Who want to get dressed in a formal at that time? We have late seating.

The dining times IF they are to change for our cruise as well are 5:30 and 7:45.
As of Friday, our cruise still has 6:00 and 8:30.
The cast member that I talked with said that the Magic cruises through Sept. 28 had the new times, but they are pushing the trial period back daily.
We'll see. We were lucky and switched to the early time in the beginning, now I would definitelly switch to late if early is at 5:30. We'll see.
