I just visited the Cruise board. Poor 4Nana!!! If any other of you grew to adore her for her sweet, calm replys to various ugly subjects... read what Very Ugly subject SHE ended up being the center of! The Free 4Nana saga.

I won a hat decorating contest at a party, by spreading alfalfa seed all over a felt Fez and calling it a Chia Fez. Ha. Short and sweet.

Lori-Way too much time on your hands!!!!! Want to come decorate my tree? Actually I would be happy to have someone drag it down from the attic (quite a feat!) and put it together! I take it the Fez grew green stuff?

Chia pet- I actually bought on for a friend of mine as a joke one Christmas. I had already given her a Christmas present on her birthday. She didn't laugh much. I always wanted one. NO I wouldn't eat it! Garry knowing you there is some hidden meaning in this question.

I vote for waiting till everyone gets their packages. That being said, we are leaving early early early Monday morning so I will either have to open our by Sunday or wait until I get back (of course I wouldn't mind opening by myself either!!!!!)

Never had a chia pet, always kinda wanted one just so I could say I had one -- sounds kinda nuts eh?

Will someone please fill me in on the recipe thing? Or at least what page I have to go to to find the info..... Thanks.

I've just been back on disneycruise.com to check my reservation and I don't believe it!!! I'm in shock!!! I'm sooo happy!!!!

They've given me my stateroom number and from the look of it...

I've been UPGRADED!!!!

No not to catagory 10

but to Catagory 9!!! - Deluxe Oceanview!!!

I'm soooo happy!!! My stateroom number is quoted as 2090 which is perfectly midship and I get a window and a split bathroom. I'll be able to see us come in to port from my room. I'm sorry but i'm on such a high now!!!

Dreams is showing the cruise at $599 right now. Just got an e-mail. Just for the Eastern though. Sailings on 1/4, 1/11, 1/25.

Krista - Yes I'm on the Western and I got the $599 rate (unfortunatly by the time they added the single suppliment, taxes and return transfers it did come to around $1000) not bad though when you consider the usual price for the western (for 1) for a catagory 11 at this time of year would be around $2150 and for a catagory 9 (which it looks like i've been upgraded to!) $2467.

Not bad a saving of nearly $1500!!!

Good morning...yeah, we got a little snow last night...you can still see the grass but what the heck, it is snow.

I got 3 batches of cookies made and sent some to work with my husband this morning..gave some to Bob to take to work but Barb wanted them so who knows if they made it or not...lol

A week from today we will know what Santa brought us....I got Dick a laptop computer and it was delivered yesterday and he wanted to know if he had to wait until Christmas to have it and I didn't have the heart to say no so he is a happy camper..

Back to my cookie baking and I still have cards to address.....

On our first cruise we were in 2092,2094 and 2096 and LOVED it! (This past Oct. we were in cat. 10's) It's a great location and the "porthole" is HUGE! I would absolutely be jumping up and down like an idiot if I were you! VERY happy for you!!!!!!!!!

Better go, this afternoon is blocked out for making truffles for the teachers. I'm just procrastinating a bit!

Today is a day my family is rejoicing!

2 years ago my 15 year old neice Carrie passed away she left behind a letter she had written 6 days before she died to her friends and family. She said she was not afraid to die and she trusted God. She asked that we not be sad for her. My family is one of strong faith and even though we knew where Carrie was we still felt the loss of this special precious little girl. Kimi Carries younger sister wrote a story about Carrie and submitted the letter and her story to "Chicken Soup" My oldest sister got word today that Kimi's story is being publised!

After looking at who has who and seeing if gifts were sent, I have come to this conclusion:

There are 3 "families" that HAVE NOT received their gifts. I have spoke to two of the "givers" and most people will have their packages by Friday.


SOOOOOOOOOOOOO, with that in mind:

We will open the gifts on Friday Dec. 20th I think a good time would be around 8:00 pm eastern time which gives the COlorado people 6:00pm. Is this time OK with everyone? Feed Back please!

If you ran into trouble with sending your gift or couldn't get your gift mailed .....PLEASE let me know! I think everyone will be understanding if there was a situation in which the gift could not be sent.
