I just read on the cruise board that Disney has scrapped plans for a Med. cruise and that the rest of the dates for 2004 should open soon, possibly in about 1 week.

Well I took the plunge and set up a dental appointment
to have my wisdom tooth pulled on Jan 4. This is sooooo
scarey for me.

We also got a confirmation that Jaymee does have mono
(this is after they said she had it then said she didn't) We took her to her regular Dr and not on the Air Force base this time.

she is suppose to go to state cheer competion in 3 days and
now the Dr is saying that she should not go. Geeeeeezzzzzz
Didn't we just go through this last Oct!!

What a great day! Good news and more good news!

But I am busy getting my plan together for my next Disney trip Dec 27 2003!!! Using my DVC!!! Yeah!!! Something to look forward to while they are yanking a tooth out of my head!!

Thanks so much for the offer, Lori, but I have to decline. I am sooo exhausted after a full day of shopping. But-if you hear of a good camera, let me know. I bought a Kodak, 3.1mp, 10X total zoom. I bought the Kodak because it looked like the most user friendly. How come everyone else is getting their Christmas card from you but me???? AND I live in the same town. Sure says a lot about the postal service! Or is it because you don't like me and I don't get one? Poor Sandy!

Barb, you will be fine. Go into it with a good frame of mind and lots of soft food. My girls liked Black Eyed Pea mashed potatoes and some baby food when they got all 4 out. Just remember NO drinking through a straw for I believe 24 hours. That is a must so you don't get dry socket. Ted only had one out about a year ago and did absolutely fine. Poor, poor, Jaymee. Bet she is tired of all the nonsense! We have several friends who use the Air Force doctors down in the Spgs and have nothing nice to say about them. Most, like you, resort to private Doctors. Shouldn't be like that!!!

I'm tired and going to vegetate now.

Hi Barb! WELCOME HOME!!!!!!!!!!!!! When making your ressies, you need to know when your use year begins (i.e. which month do you get your points) If you want to book at your home resort, you can book 11 months from the last day of your trip (in your case Jan 5)

If you want to book at another DVC property, you have to wait until 7 months from your last day. (Jan 7)

Here's an example:
Say my use year begins in JUNE at the BWV

I want to go to Disney in MARCH 2004

IF I want BWV, I can call and make ressies starting July 2003

If I want another DVC property I have to want until November 2003


I hope that makes sense and doesn't confuse you
When Garry gets home, he can better explain it if I have completed screwed it up.

Barb, don't worry too much about the tooth. The event is usually less of a problem than the worrying about it before hand. By the way, what Julie was trying to tell you is that you can book your trip 11 months in advance of the actual vacation date if you're staying at your home resort. Otherwise, you have to wait until seven months before to book at a DVC resort other than the one you own at (the whole vacation must be within these windows in order for you to book it). Use year has nothing to do with it. That just tells you when you are going to get your yearly allotment of points.

Thanks Julie, I need a bubble bath to relax after all the decorating I have been doing....the girls are no problem...they don't really fight....never did have much fighting going on with my kids that I knew about. Patti tells me her brother use to fight with her when I wasn't home but would talk her into not telling me by bribing her before I got back. She was a push over!!
