One more thing, if we would go in 2004 we would want to go Western as it is the only route we haven't taken. BUT, we keep saying we want to use a different cruiseline. Not sure we will go. However, we want to just because of the reunion. Make a date and we will have to decide later.

My second day at work was okay, but things are starting to heat up. Making a long story short, I'm on the "bad boy" list because I had the audacity to stand up to the city when they tried to make my and Julie's life miserable this summer when I was out with my knee. Saw the Chief as he was leaving today and got "the glare" from him, so I gave it right back. He then proceeded to take a shot at me indirectly on the police radio while he was driving home. We all just rolled our eyes at the station because everyone there knew what he was trying to do and why. Some people just can't stand to have their authority questioned. Anyways, enough about work problems, I just needed to vent!

A reunion cruise sounds like fun! Especially now that we all have a babysitter!! Thanks Bonnie!!!

Yes, I'm here back with the program! Sorry I haven't been posting, as you know I've been having computer trouble well I think I've finally fixed it. I must admit I nearly threw my PC out the window but luckly I stopped myself and had another go at fixing it and I think I've cracked it.

Well I managed to get on the address list but I missed the birthday list, well if anyone wants to add me on to their list my birthday is July 15th.

Well I wish I could stick around but I now have to get ready for work, but I will finish at 1/2am tonite UK time (8/9pm ET) so I will check in again then, no more lurking!!!

Finally, I would like to say thankyou to Julie for all her hard work on the lists, they are great!

My decorating is going slow....and so am I. I changed my workroom around yesterday and moved a file cabinet and organ. Somehow I don't think anyone in their 70's should do that by themselves...sure glad I am not 70!

We are still having warm weather....where is the snow when you want it? When I don't want it is the 28th of Dec when we fly out of here. The flight schedule is starting to look like the one I took in Oct. They have changed it 4 times already and the last time they switched us to Northwest for our return flight. That does not make me a happy camper after the last experience with them.

Thanks Julie!! It came thru nicely. Maybe it only happen on mine but each had just one line moved over. Maybe my margins were set differently and it made a long line bump down? Anyway, is Turner's Birthday in November or May? If anyone else's LIST had the line for my phone number moved over ... ours starts with a (303) and 'Canada' goes under Diana.
Thanks for all of this work you have done Julie. I have learned a few new things about sending files, so I guess you have too. LOL It will all pay off one day soon, when you whip something off to someone like a pro and they are SO impressed at how computer savvy you are!

Good to see you back Darren. I'm thinking very seriously about throwing my computer out the window too. The sales on better computers are so enticing right now. My biggest insecurity is losing stuff I've downloaded. My Dad says he'll loan me something to make the transfer with, but I'm so chicken!
What's with so many of our computers going to mush lately?

Wonderful job, Julie. I got the lists and everything is correct for us. Don't beat yourself up. Believe me, I wouldn't have even tackled it. I would have really screwed it up!

Went Christmas shopping today. Getting there! All that is left on my list is GUYS. I hate buying for men. I have no idea even for Ted.

Hi Darren. Glad to see you are back.

My computer isn't "right" yet either. We need to find new drives. It is very frustrating. We are tempted to get a new one, too, Lori.

Are they taking reservations for Oct 2004-or is it too early? I do, I do want to go but ---- Alaska is calling our name. We would take the Princess. What to do, what to do. We might even have another wedding to worry about then. Last one, however.

Garry, it looks like your city is no different than any other city. My dad was a dectective for a city and Ted works for one, too. They definitely hate it when an employee creates some waves! Good luck and hang in there.

A copy of this will also go out with the other two lists when I mail them. So How's this for the guidelines for the gift exchange:

OCTOBER 19, 2002 DISNEY CRUISE
CHRISTMAS GIFT EXCHANGE

This year a few people have expressed interest in an ornament exchange, but if you received a family that you got to know really well on the cruise and have another idea for a gift, then feel free to include it. This is how the exchange will work:

* I will give each family a number.
* I will contact each family via email to have them choose a number. The number you
choose will be the family you purchase the gift for. No one will know who you have
but your family and of course me.
* You will purchase an ornament and/or individual gifts for your “gift” family and send
your package to them with your name INSIDE the gift.
* Once you receive your gift via mail (UPS/FedEx etc.) DO NOT open it.
* After we confirm that everyone has their gift, then we can open them. Maybe we can
choose a day/evening to open them up together online.
* Once we have opened the gifts, I will post the “Who got Who” list on our community
thread.
* Please try to keep the cost to $10-20.

If anyone has any suggestions to these “guidelines” please feel free to let me know.

If no one has any problem with this, I will begin the process either tonight or tomorrow.

Julie - DITTO all the ther comments!! You have done a wonderful job with the lists!!! I (we) can't thank you enough!!!

Julie - I responded to your emails but it looks like everything has already been covered here on the board. I'm still under the weather so I haven't been on lately. If you want to send the .doc version to me instead of .wps that will work for me as well. We're not having PC problems since we got a new one a few weeks before the cruise and boy does it fly! It's faster than my pc at work and I owrk in the technology field (go figure)!

Ornament instructions look fine to me. I really can't wait!!!!

Bonnie - no I haven't been to the doctor yet. I believe my sinus thing has settled in my chest, however. Will probably have to do the doctor-thing tomorrow (yuck! )

I'll try to check back on a little later if I don't collapse first.
