Ted: I can see it now. All of our DISNEY DUDES with crowns on their heads, shorts & black socks!!!   I'm telling you that Neil Diamond song is for real. Of course the album has been long gone. I may have the words mixed-up but it is very similar to what I printed.

I really do need to get off the computer & finish the wash.

Sandy: I would have been just like you seeing Neil Diamond.

Everyone have a great day, week & year. Toodles:wave: :earsgirl: Jeanne Lynn Frances Russian-Wolf

How exciting to see your take on New Years Eve! It sounds like a wonderful evening. How were the crowds though?

I think we have unleashed a monster here ladies! Ted can be as talkative as us! Keep it up Ted!!

Back to work...can you tell I am not looking forward to climbing up into the attic????????

Well my bags are packed and I'm ready to go. I had to dash around today and do some last minute shopping but everything is done now.

It's now 6pm over here and I'm going to have to try and get some sleep soon (how can I sleep, I'm too excited!) as I have to be up at 3:30am to get ready for my bus to the airport.

I just checked the weather for New York and the forcast is snow and ice turning to rain in the afternoon, highs of 37, hopefully there won't be any travel delays. The weather in Orlando is 76 today but unfortunatly it's dropping down to the low 60's tomorrow (just my luck) but it's looking very dry, in fact the forcast for Port Canaveral on Saturday says 0% chance of precipitation so hopefully the sail-away party will be outside (might need some walm clothes though!). Grand Cayman should be in the 80's and Cozumel is forcast at 79, perfect!!!

Well I wish I could take you all with me!, I'll try to post while i'm away to keep you updated, but otherwise I'll be back with the full details in about a week and a half!!!

:bounce: :bounce: :bounce: DISNEY MAGIC HERE I COME!!!! :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

I am sooo excited for you Darren!!! Have fun! Tell all the Dudettes say hi and send our best!! Don't forget Palo's first night!!!!!! Say hi to Salvatore and Cristian in Palo's although they may not remember us!

Have fun!!! Will be following you on the web cams!!!

Take care!!

Bon Voyage Darren!!!!!!!!

DARREN: Have a safe trip & a great vacation. How can you not have a great vacation with all that Disney Magic around?

Just goofing-off. I will do anything not to work. DD#2

Bonnie, get back to that attic!
Sue, if you can't find crowns for the men, how about those royal looking lanyards with the big medallion hanging from it. (Then of course a few disney trading pins along the length LOL) Oh, and black socks and shorts.
Jeanne, I hadn't heard of ANY of those good luck traditions. How have I made it this far! I even made soup with the leftover Turkey yesterday!
Well, Sandy couldn't make the same dates as I, and I didn't hear back from Barb, so as far as Momma Mia goes..... I'm Going!! I mentioned it offhandedly to a girlfriend who went nuts on the idea and is going to take her equally nuts sister along with us as a birthday celebration. Laurie, I'm so glad you shared your excitement over the whole event. It was contagious! The seats are really high however, so I'm thinking I need some rhinestoned binoculars to match the tiara.
Barb, if you haven't seen my e-mails, you can still get tickets from King Soopers in the same area (Section D) if you want to go. We'll meet before the show for some pre-party.
OK, that's what's new here. Take care all. ~Lori

Garry says he has his crown so he is all for it! Since he says he is the "king" he has a crown on at all times!

I've got my tiara so we are all set and ready to go!

Have a GREAT trip DARREN!!!!!!!!!

Bonnie, I'm putting things up in that attic too! See, we are being busy beavers today. I like you count down;) !

Be back later everyone!

Darren: Bon Voyage!!!!!

Crowns and tiaras?????

Sue: More than likely we will have to meet on our way back from Florida. I am guessing you won't want to be in our bags for the trip back to Ohio! We had freezing rain this morning and it is snowing now.

Well, add bronchitis to my list. I am so tired. Jerry worked from home today. Kaleigh still has her mild cold. She must not be feeling well right now because she is being fussy. I gave her tylenol a while ago.

We leave 1 week from Sunday. I haven't even thought about packing or taking down our tree.

Have fun Denine and Jerry!! I hope you feel better!! I hope you get better weather than we did!!

Garry: You a king???? Hmmmm....I'll have to think about that! You know I'm the troublesome one of your "girls"! LOL!
If you are elevated to king does that me you get a bigger cut?

JUlie: Wait till you see what the counter says when it is finished! LOL! And I'm not telling. You just have to wait!!!!!

Barb and Laurie!!!! Quit Lurking!!! I know you are out there!!!!!!!!
headshake.gif

Hiddy Ho all! I enjoyed chatting with you briefly tonight Bonnie! Hopefully I will be able to chat longer tonight!

Laurie where are you???????????

Denine and Jerry, If we don't get a chance to see or speak before you leave, have a wonderful trip! You will have to let us know how your stay was when you get back! Be safe!

Sandy, I re-sent you the e-card of the Big Guy. If you still don't get it let me know and I will keep trying! I think you and Ted would get a big kick out of it!

Ok, It's the new year, so if you all stary getting those recipes ready and get them to me or Sally we can get our cookbook started. I have a least 8 recipes now not counting the ones I have. SO when you get a minute........yeah I know famous last words...... start looking through your recipes. Krista, we could probably fill the entire book with your yummy recipes! If anyone one comes up with a unique title to our cookbook pass it a long. I'll collect them and then select a few for EVERYONE to vote on. I would love a section in the book "just for the guys" foods the guys cook that are out of this world. I know Ted, Ben, Darren, Paul, John, Greg, Jerry, Bob, Ken, Dick, Dave and Garry have got to have some speciality up their sleeves!

I'll check back later!

Jeanne I'm glad to see you posting regularly. I have a picture of you and Bonnie from formal night on my computer stand so I see you two everyday! Makenzie still knows who is who from all the pictures! She doesn't forget anything! What's really cute is she see Sandy and Ted and says....elevators! Because that is where she saw them the most!

Hey.....root for the BUCKEYES tonight or else! LOL! You know how serious we take our football;) They are undefeated and playing in the "big" college bowl game tonight against Miami. Everyone in Ohio cheers for OHIO STATE!!!!!!!! (and even those people who don't live in Ohio) GO BUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi all,

Yes I am now standing in terminal 3 at the airport all checked-in and ready to go. I'm on one of these clever internet phones!

Well it's all been fun at the airport this morning. I managed to get pulled from the line while'st waiting to check-in, for a full security screening. They went through my suitcase and my carry-on bag, I tell you it was great fun trying to close my suitcase again after they'd searched it! Then on checking in they got me as asle seat for the JFK to Orlando flight but i'm nearly in the middle of a row for the London to JFK segment (even though I checked in about 4h 30m before the flight!!!). Tried to request an exit row but was told that they were blocked out but the check-in lady said I could try at the gate. Well I did get to check-in a First class though (cool!!!)

Well I'll be on my way in just over 2 hours and I can't wait!!!

I check in again soon!!

How exciting to have you check in with us at the airport!!!! we will be thinking of you here!!

Julie: GLad to hear that Makenzie has not forgotten us!!! SHe is a pip!!! LOL! I still have visions of you running out of the restaurant after her! LOL! WHat a cutie thoough.

Back to finish up the painting today...after the Ibuprophen kicks in! UGH... I'm getting too old for this. I think it was trying to move the bookcase downstairs that did it!

Have a goo day all!

It’s TGIF with all the Holidays I didn’t think Friday would ever get here.

Bonnie, the crowds were not that bad. On the trip back home on the light rail we had to pass up about two times to get onto the train because of the train being two crowded. Sandy had noticed that people were getting on the light rail heading the opposite way and then return on the that train on its way back. We did that with the next train that came and made home by 2:00 am. Hope you get your room painted today.

Jeanne, I am going to try to figure out the song this weekend. If I can’t you are going to have to give the song so I can see how accurate you are reciting the word in the song, assuming that I can find the song. Have you or Bonnie talked to Joyce lately. Tell her HI from Sandy and I.

Julie, I don’t know if I have any specialty recipes. I suppose I could give you the recipe for the chicken dinner that I tried to impress Sandy with my cooking before we got married. This is a good dinner when you prepare it right. I guess that is why Sandy does the cooking instead of me. I used the wrong measuring spoon for the salt and some other spice, which made the chicken taste real salty. Like a trooper Sandy ate the dinner. Will have to ask Sandy for the recipe.

Have to go have a great day everybody.

Ted

Jeez, Ted talks more to you people than he does me. Something is wrong here. He really is a GOOD cook, just don't let him put in the spices. Small t and big T had him confused.

Bye Darren! First class, wow. Have a great time. Wish we were all there with you!

Elevators, how funny. Really that is about the only place we saw you except at the terminal. Just dubbed our video over to tape and saw a lot of your family on it just no one else. Where was everyone? Our families had top spots and just didn't get out and about in the terminal. Got your email. Will sit with Ted and view, tonight.

So sorry that you are sick, Denine. Get those drugs soon so you can be well for your trip.

Susan, where are you?

Going shopping now. Couldn't go with Lori to Momma Mia but will look for her feather boa. She needs sequins, right?

Bonnie, I think I can guess on your countdown. OHHHHHHHHHH !

Sandy you have unleashed Ted and he truely is a chatty one!!! I love it! Jeanne sees Joyce at work. I was just thinking that I really have to give her a call.

When my son was in college and we would go to his concerts we would get on the Speedline and ride it in the opposite direction also. I was better than waiting in the station. Glad the crowds weren't too bad.

I never saw you guys with the video camera in hand. Only Julie & Garry. Next trip I will have to borrow my son's, that I gave him for Christmas. Not too spoiled is he? Actually I did it so I could see videos of my grandchild when he/she arrives (they are thinking a girl).

OK Barb and Laurie... Quit lurking!!! And Diana! Surely you are home by now!!! We miss you!

Ohhh Lori! I think you should wear the gown that you wore on formal night to Mama Mia...with boa and tiara!!! I wish I could go! I missed it when it was in PHilly.

Back to painting soon. Ceiling is next...yes I do it backwards! God bless people who paint for a living!! I HATE IT!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, you guys got me going. I am having Ted make one of his specialties. We are having enchiladas. See he CAN cook. Our dd (Heidi) is in Mexico so we can eat anything and everything that we USE to eat before they came along. With all the likes and dislikes we just quit cooking the way we use to when it was just the two of us.

Had a good time shopping with the other dd (Stacey). Don't tell Ted, but we spent a bundle. It is always fun spending money with someone else. Sorry Lori, didn't find a boa. Oh well, we still have time.

Thanks Lori for your cute thank you card. You are very creative. Gotta love those two kids of yours!!!!

Julie, I will sit down and write out some recipes. I will probably send them via email. I don't know how to do word perfect so will probably send it regular email, one at a time. I figure you will know what to do from there.

Bonnie, I agree, I hate to paint. It is sooooooo boring and never seems to get done.

Gotta go. Take care!
