So, is anyone going snorkling on Costa Maya? We about made the final decision to just go to Mahahual Beach, BUT...

I read that Costa Maya's barrier reef, Banco Cinchorro(sp?) is the largest reef in the Northern Hemisphere and the 2nd largest barrier reef in the world. Australia's being the 1st of course. Anyway, now I'm thinking that would be a kind of cool experience to snorkel @ Banco Cinchorro & I know that Blue Ha diving goes their, but I don't know if Costa Maya's excursion goes their. Oh well, I guess I'll do the live chat again & ask.

I can not believe another hurricane is hitting Florida. I am so glad we changed those Ron Jon reservations since they are predicting the same area is going to get hit AGAIN! I hope we don't have to drive to Port Everglades for the cruise

Happy belated BD Kamy!

So, been away for a week due to a lost parrot, found him after a massive "bird hunt", exhausted family and me.

What? No Cayman, how do you all know? Do your docs say that, or can someone give me a link? Ours are held by a TA and will probably be really late with the latest round of cruising mess. The phone lines are clogged since this weeks cruises are once again messed up. Well, who knows, whatever may be true today will change with the next round of the Caribbean and Florida's personal trial by wind and water. Anyone have a link specific for our date?

As a result Hurricane Frances’ impact on Grand Cayman Disney Cruise Line has announced a change in the itinerary of their Western Caribbean Cruises sailing on 9/25/2004, 10/9/2004 and 10/23/2004.



The itinerary for the above listed cruises only will be:



Saturday – depart Port Canaveral, Florida

Sunday – Key West, Florida

Monday - Day at Sea

Tuesday – Costa Maya, Mexico

Wednesday – Cozumel, Mexico

Thursday - Day at Sea

Friday – Castaway Cay, Bahamas

Saturday – return to Port Canaveral, Florida



Any pre-booked shore excursions for Grand Cayman will be cancelled and will not be charged to your onboard accounts. Disney Cruise Line has not yet announced available shore excursions for Costa Maya, but they are informing passengers that this information will be available once they board the ship at the shore excursion desk located on deck 3.



As soon as Dreams Unlimited Travel hears of any other changes, or receives any additional information that may affect your cruise, we will forward that to our clients who are affected as soon as possible.

Cheri - This is Heidi, too lazy this morning to logout of my mom and login to me. I am not worried about my backside hurting, I bet they will only let us walk with the horses so your butt doesn't get as sore!!! I just went on a horse last night and my butt hurts today, but we were trotting and loping!!! Even if my butt would hurt, I still say it's worth it to ride on the beach!!

I am getting very excited I just wish all these hurricanes were out of the way. Hurricane "JEANNE" just better behave & leave Castaway Cay alone! I do not want to drive to Port Everglades either!

I hope you all have a great weekend. My cowboy is picking me up at 5:30 P.M. for our rodeo date. Working tomorrow & celebrating all the September birthdays (five of them) so we should be partying Can't wait to see Joyce (alias Disney Dudette #3) & catch-up tomorrow. you sold me. I really wanted to ride, but didn't want to spend the rest of the cruise in pain. I'll take a few spinning classes to toughen up the old keister and see you on the trail! (git along little doggies...)

Call me a cheapskate, but it's pretty darn good wine for 2 bucks! (We get it at Trader Joes)

Well, I went ahead and changed my limo ressies, and feel good about the new one I have. They were very helpful and accomodating. I just hope they don't have to take us from Port Everglades to MCO!! Cha-ching!!


Um... docs anytime now would be fine. Really. It's ok.They can bring them now.

Hi Beano,

As host, do you have any preference as to the type of wine we bring to your party? Dry or Sweet, Red or White, variatal?

Dan (DH) is thinking it would be "best" for him to bring wine from home and carry it down in case he can't find anything "good" at a store once we are in Florida. I am worried - our carryon luggage is going to be rediculous! !!!

Is admission a bottle of wine per person or per couple? (I can't drink wine, so could I bring my own alternate beverage?)

Not much less than a month to go and I've already started some packing.... (I have Darrah's clothes, pajamas & swimsuits all packed up. The storage bags for each days clothes and sucking out the air with a straw worked great!)

Just, please, no more hurricanes.

First of all... "Amen" to no more hurricanes!!


I have my own personal preference of wines, but I would never ask you to bring something based on that... I want my guests happy!! Use your own taste, and that will be fine.

A bottle of wine per couple is great. There is really no "admission", per se. Bring one, bring two, bring three. Show up empty handed and you're still quite welcome. (You might leave thirsty, but welcomed!!) LOL



P.S. We won't stand on etiquette here - if you bring a nice bottle of wine that doesn't get opened, we'll insist you take it with you, so don't be shy!!

I'll be there with Jasmine and Jack Sparrow. I'm thinking of getting a "wench" costume for myself. Any other big kids dressing up on Pirate Night?

Sorry, guys, there is starting to be just tooo many things for my little brain to keep track of . And I'm sooooo jealous of those of you with docs.
