I was going to abandon the thread but I can't have you talking to yourself, Faith! Beautiful weather here. Absolutely beautiful. We were playing around on a RV lot on Saturday and I found myself hunting out SHADE. I was hot. Last Thursday I talked to Dudette 1 on the phone for almost an hour outside and I got a sunburn face. In January???? Unheard of!!

Hey gang,

Sorry it's been so long. Holiday's are always so crazy for me and my DH and I were lucky enough to join Kamgen and Tarzanman at WDW over New Years!

Talk about awesome! What a way to start off the new year!

Now it's back to the old grind, work, home, school...this is my last class for a while though. I'm going to take a nice long break after this semester...plus I'm in 2 weddings this year.

Already counting the days till the cruise. A couple of our friends are thinking about going...both single young men...perhaps I can play matchmaker while on the cruise. LOL

Hopefully as we get closer to the cruise everyone will pick up the chatter on the thread. We were doing so well for a while.

Nice to talk to you again.
I know how busy the holidays can be. I'm almost glad the season is over. Now all we have to do is get through this cold crappy winter.

I had an awesome day in work yesterday, I'm doing something new in the lab. Way less stress . The job is in Micro, some of it is gross but I'm learning a lot

Well got to go now I'm working for a few hrs today, for more training

The underwear & black dress on New Year's Eve worked. We had a great time & the following Friday, January 9th, was my holiday party followed by a trip to Midlothian, Virginia, for the weekend to see his house. Very Impressive! We are making everybody sick because we are together constantly

Hi all, Long time no see. I've been on "jury duty" and got picked. For on a 2 week trial. I can't talk about it now but I will when it's over. Anyway got to go now way too much to do.

Sure has been a long time for me since I last posted. Hope everyone is having a good 2004 so far !
Seems like alot of happy people out there getting ready to have a blast !

We are currently seeking to book our next cruise, probably for this coming October. Trying to get to WDW some time in late July or early August.
But, who knows, I may just get the irresistable urge to jump a weekend flight again in Feb., and spend the Presidents Day weekend with the big boss, MM !
Anyway, just wanted to send my regards from the frozen section of Connecticut !

I heard from my cousin...she works in the Walpole 99...I sure was off on that one! She is back from her cruise and gained 6 lbs...no big deal on her!!! She is nice and thin! I gained 12 last year!

All I gained on the 10/18 cruise was 1.54 carrots! I think I need to try this cruise again real soon....And see if I can't get it right this time !!!

I'm not far from the Walpole 99. After I complete this trial (jurt duty") I will have to go try out the 99. I can sure use a night out with all this stress with going to court every day from 9am to 4pm. I have less stress at work.

Who has not gained weight on a cruise? It's hard not to with food,food,food,food!!!! all the time. And it's great food.

Oh well I better get going now another "fun filled day" at court.

Just returned from a LOOONNNGGG weekend in the Poconos in Pennsylvania. "We" went skiing, flea market & outlet shopping & ate lots of different foods. It snowed every day!

FAITH: You have the kind of luck that I have. My number will NEVER be picked for the lottery but I always get picked for jury duty!

Romance is going really, really well.

Gain weight on a cruise???? You bet! Unfortunately. We never eat desserts and we always do on the cruise.

Jeanne, you said that you were making everyone sick because you and your new love is always together. Just wanted to tell you that people think that of Ted and I. After 29 years, we are STILL like that. I am sure that you can see that!
The Poconos sounds so romantic. Maybe one day we can head out your way.

I better get off the computer. I am expecting an important phone call from a very special person. I am getting some much needed information.

I agree. This thread needs to be more lively. It is nothing like our other chatty thread that is for sure. Wake up, wake up!!

Waiting for more snow today and tomorrow. Nothing like upstate NY tho!

Hi all, Long time no see. I need a favor from all of you. Yesterday my mom had a stroke and at this time she is not doing well. Please pray for her. My mom's name is Lora. Thank you.


Now about "Jury Duty"
This "Jury Trial" is over and ended in a hung jury. I'm so upset because 12 people were in the jury room for 3 days 11 of us found him guilty 1 did not. I don't understand why only one man did not find "the man on trial" not guilty???
Just to give you some info on the case. (because I can now) it was a rape trial. A girl 19 years old (now) said that she was being raped by her 2 first cousins when she was 8 years old until she was 13 years old. She did not tell until she was 16 years old. She said the boys told her that she would break up the family if she told. Oh my God how awful.
This case "SUCKED THE LIFE RIGHT OUT OF ME" Anyway to make a very long awful story short after the trial the judge told us that the "man on trial" told someone "caught on tape" that he did do it. But the judge said that evidence could not be submitted into the trial because it was illegally optioned. Also just to let you know the other "man on trial" was found guilty. We were told after the trial. The judge told us also that he will go back on trial sometime in June. I feel so very bad for that entire family. They need to heal and until this next trial if finally over they can't.
I have been so sick over this. The trial ended last Friday. I went to work on Saturday and I was so tired that I did not go and see my mom like I always do. (I feel really bad about that now.) Kristy(DD) is doing OK she is at the doctor today as I speak. I'm sure that she will be fine. Well, that is about all that is going on in my crazy life. I'm going now to see mom. Again please send your prayers to her. Thank you.

Oh Faith, I am so sorry to hear about your mother. She is definitely in our prayers. I hope she is doing much better!

As far as the trial, that really stinks. Rape is always such a horrible trial. I am sorry that it didn't turn out the way it should but at least he will be tried again. I think that it stinks that they can't use some evidence. That just isn't right to hide things from the jury. It seems like our justice system has some flaws. Working in the courts for 9 years I certainly saw a lot of it!!

Thinking of Faith. Hope she is doing great! Heidi has come a long way.
