Roll Call for 40% off PIN (location please)

It would have been nice to add in the responses when the last time you had been to disney world, for those that got a PIN. The way i see it, alot of people that never get a pin are the ones that go every year. Disney doesn't give them a PIN cuz they're already frequent visitors. PIN's are used to entice new customers and those who haven't been there in a while back to WDW. At least that's the way i see it.:upsidedow

You would think that makes some sense - but it doesn't seem to work that way either.

Check out the siggy on wdwnomad's post just a few before yours - it says that they have stayed onsite every year for the last four years and they just got one of the 40% codes.

Once again, Disney baffles us.

What I would love to know, however, is just how many they send out for each time they do this (and also know if sometimes there are more or less).

Ah well, still hoping up here in Canada...

we got a code too, and we're about 40 minutes outside of the city.....it saved us $1200 on our trip, including the one night room only rate we had to pay cause we're arriving one night before the deal was good..... :cool1:  :cool1:

 Hey everyone! Thought I'd jump in here a moment and ask a question. For those of you who are getting these codes...have you ever received one before now and how long has it been since you got your last one? Also if you have gotten one of these codes ... how often do you go to WDW? :confused3

I have never received a code before, but we go several times a year. I still can't believe we even got one. I was literally jumping up and down when I saw the mail. It was just laying on the counter and as soon as I spotted it I freaked! I actually ripped it on accident when I was jumping around. Sad but true, LOL!!! :lmao:

Booked the GF in Sept for a great price! We've been 9 or 10 times in last 15 years; last time in 2005. But I did order the planning DVD last week:confused3 We're in central AR (that's Arkansas, not Arizona;))

I actually got one back in 2004. We first stayed on Disney property because of that code. Since then we've seen nada -- but joined DVC in early 2005. Is anyone that is receiving the codes DVC members?

My nine-year-old daughter received one, and we live in Suffolk.
Not sure what day it came. I just saw it on the floor in my living room a few hours ago.

Welcome to the Disboards Hohoz, another Palos Hills, IL resident here. We didn't get a postcard either, but we'll be at ASM on January 23 for four days.:yay: Just hoping for nice warm weather.

I received 2 of the emails to 2 different email addresses! LOL :cool1: I am in Upstate New York. We are currently already booked with the Bounceback Free Dining though. Still working the numbers to see what will give us a better deal. :confused3

We also have been every September for Free Dining since 2005, and went either every year or every other year before that for quite awhile.

Good luck to those of you still waiting!

I got the code 2 days ago via email, and booked us a 2 bdroom villa @ SSR saving us a whopping $2100! We're from Southern California - and this will be our 3rd trip since '06.

Our first and only trip to WDW was in 06. We stayed off site. We got a postcard last year but we were unable to use it. We got another postcard just the other day and I'm still trying to talk DH into using it for Christmas. :) Oh, and I'm in Amarillo, TX.

Received code after calling. (have not received an email code nor snail mail postcard). West Virginia (metro DC area).

Got email 40% off on 1/8. East Texas here. We are booked for Dec. at FW Cabins.

Stayed onsite Dec 2006, all our other onsite visits have been II trades.

I got the email about 3pm, earlier that morning I was logged into the site looking at rates for FW cabins.

Once again, Disney baffles us.

I am not sure if this makes a difference but I always go with my sister and her kids. Some way or another we have two different "households" in the Disney system. When we booked last year my sister had the PIN under her name and phone number. We booked under her and I was included in guest under her. The previous two years I booked our trips using my name and phone number. They were guests under my name. The trip in 2005 I got an email with a PIN for the free dining before it went public. The email I just got came to me so I am assuming that is tied to my household. Maybe in the computers eyes I haven't been since 2006?

Hopewell, NJ

I got the email pin code, just booked the Poly for $229.50 (with tax) for December.

Tim, mine came from Disney Destinations with sub line "Limited Time! Amazing Disney Resort Offer!"
