I've been looking and posting, but haven't seen a roll call start yet for our March 20 Eastern Magic. So I'll just chime in and start it. I am about over the top for March to arrive. My last two cruise experiences were less than wonderful, and I REALLLLLY ned a good time about now. I have cruised DCL 3 times now with daughter and friends, but this time my husband's school break is going to be spent with me on the Magic. I know he will find this ship as magical as I do. I've been talking it up, and comparing it favorably to all of our other cruise line experiences, so he is expecting Magic on the Magic.
My last cruise on the Magic was memorable for all the wrong reasons. I spend the entire cruise literally deathly ill.....we didn't know how bad things were till I ended up in a hospital in Boston....all alone, 3000 miles from home.....with a brain infection. So I remember little to nothing about the cruise. And that cruise was the infamous "FIRE" cruise.....and I spent the hour and a half at life boat stations literally unconscious.....no time for me to be scared. But the crew was wonderful through both of my ordeals.
My last cruise was last spring on Princess, down the Mexican Riveria. That cruise got off to a GREAT start when we discovered that some idiot had taken my suitcase off the luggage carosel. So I set sail with only those things in my carry-on.....my meds, my swimsuit and an extra pair of panties. That was an experience. Four days later that #$%$# person finally returned my suitcase to the airport, and they flew it down to Mexico where it caught up with me in port. What a nightmare. I will now pack my carry on more judiciously...never knowing what I might need if someone else decides they need my suitcase more than I do!
Hope to hear from some other 3/20 cruisers.
