Okay...I'm a little confused...A doesn't buy for A? I've already started a few of mine, so can we do it that way i.e. A buys for A and B buys for B?

I thought it was this way too, you buy for those in your group

My understanding is that we were going to split new participants between groups A and B and keep the mid August cut off. Like Cari has stated previously, I am planning for 12 just in case more want to join, I just wanted to get started so everything wouldn't be last minute as I think several others did too. I could have misunderstood too, so if I did just let me know...I'm up for whatever the group wants to do!

I am still waiting on my planning Pack. But probably will get it week coming up. DD will be graduating from 5th grade in a couple days so I have been working on a little party.

Would anyone else like to see all the FE threads out there put under one single forum? Scrapbooking, crafts, and cooking each have their own ones. I am finding lots of FE gift ideas, but it takes me days to search and scan through all the threads... well, it's not so dramatic as that, but it's not as organized as other topics.

So, my real question is, has anyone found a shortcut search or a way to filter all these threads? Am I missing something? Thanks!

Ok, today I finally started work on our magnets.
I need to get some more stuff in there, but this is the general look for the Halloween one:

I get lazy working on graphics at home since it is all I do at work
But I decided to get a jump start and play around today.

One bit of news that has me jumping around. DH and I have decided and settled to celebrate our 10th anniversary with a Disney Fairy Tale vow renewal at WDW. We never had a proper wedding, we were rather poor when we first got married, so I am so excited to do this, I feel so lucky!

But we still have a while to go until the date we picked in Feb 2011. Oh wouldn't it be amazing to have a honeymoon in one of the new ships?

Anyway, back to work!

OK so lets do it this way LOL it seems some are unclear and so i thought id post this and hope it helps
I misunderstood and your all right A buys for A and B buys for B
Also on the last cruise I did we bought gifts for each cabin on our list either as a single item per cabin or per individual person in the cabin but we bought for all cabins on the list( in our group )
Also - could everyone hang their FE upon boarding and can we get a vote on a cut off time for Saturday night so that we can take them down and pack them away to take home ? Last cruise we did FE gifts for Thurs night Fri night and Sat night and they all had to be delivered no later than 10 PM Sat night so if thats good with everyone can we pick a time and do it that way?????? let me know im not the boss LOL just tryig to help out and get all the info out there

Does that mean we have to go round delivering to all the cabins each day?
I had presumed it was a one-off thing, one gift and on one day I've never done this before though, so someone please let me know how exactly it works!

There is Pirate night (although not with the typical pirate menu that are on longer cruises...each resturant will serve it's typical menu that night) and as for formal night, typically those who want to dress up, do it on the night you dine at Tritons because it is the most formal (well besides Palo).

Yeah. FE talk. Can I summarize? Can I resist?

1. Hang FEs on Thursday. Do we need to set a time to have them out by? The first day is so busy, do we want to? What does everyone think?

2. FEs will have to be packed by 10PM on Saturday, so a delivery cutoff time is recommended. Suggestions?

3. FE gifts can be a single item for a cabin OR for each individual in the cabin. Is everyone good with this?

4. FE gifts can be given every day OR once per cruise. Is everyone good with this?

5. FE gifts could be items such as inexpensive small trinkets, homemade items, or candy.

6. FE participants are separated into 2 groups of cabins, A & B. Those in group A give gifts to others in group A, and same for group B.

7. We estimate 9 to 12 cabins participating in each group. Each participant should get FE gifts for up to 11 other cabins in their FE group.

8. The cutoff date to sign up for the FE is August 15th. Cari is tracking the participant list & deck map.
