I know the cruse theme is Hallowonder - which I think is awesome - and the clip art to go with ROCKS, but is there are particular piece that will represent our cruise? I hope this makes sense??!!

I noticed alot of us are going to be at WDW before the cruise, are any of you guys doing the NSSHP on the 27th? We will be there if anyone is interested in a pre cruise meet.

We are going to MNSSHP on the 27th - I believe Angie (aswift) and her family will be there that night also. We were also planning to meet up with some UK DISsers that night too. We would be happy to have a little mini meet if someone wants to suggest a time and place. We have an ADR at the Plaza at 4:40 that afternoon but no plans firmly after that.

We would have loved to meet up with everyone for the MNSSHP, but we have tickets for the 25th. It's our first time, and we have not told the kids that we are going to WDW as we are keeping that a surprise...they only know we're cruising. Should be fun!!

Hi all,
I'v been looking through our cruise docs again and noticed that it says for non US citizens, we need to take passports and a visa waiver form. Does this mean I need to ask for an additional visa waiver form on the plane? Do they even do these any more since we've done our ESTA's already?
Thanks in advance! :thumbsup2

Meryll, yes we still have to fill out those annoying green forms on the plane and you won't need to fill out anything additionally for the cruise. When you hand in the forms to immigration at Orlando International (or whatever airport you are flying into), they staple the green bits into your passports. DCL, when you check in for your cruise, will just make sure they are in your passports and you will be fine. You will need your passports when you cruise, though, so don't forget them if you are planning on leaving stuff back at WDW.

Cool thanks, I don't remember ever keeping the forms before though, I thought they took them off us at immigration...

Part of the form is stapled into your passport by immigration and then removed by airline staff when you check in for your flight home. Just so you're aware for the future, you should always make sure the airline removes the green stub from your passport when you leave Florida as this is what tells immigration that you have left the country. If they left the stubs in your passport, you may be refused entry to the states on a future visit.

We're there that nite. Have LTT reservations at 4:45p, but would be interested in saying "hi" :)

Hi guys Happy Labor Day.....Hope everyone is well .... I keep looking at my ticker MOVE EEYORE MOVE !!!!! LOL

I'm just the opposite, my kids know we are going to DW but they have no idea that Grandma is meeting us there or that we are going on a cruise. I was a little concerned if we do a meet at MNNSHP that the cat might get out of the bag about the cruise so I may have to re-think that. hhhmmmm

You are correct we will be at the MNSSHP on the 27th. We have ADR's at the Plaza around 7. Our flight does not land until 4:30. We are going to grab our car check in and head straight to the MK. We are doing Epcot the next day. This is the first year we have not been to WDW and done all parks at least once. I told my DH that it was sad. But then he informed me that I was getting to go on a cruise and that made it all better:woohoo:. (somewhat)

On a side note, this is my first flight.....I am a little nervous!!!(to put it mildly). DH and DD have assured me that everything will be OK.

Angie,
you have nothing to worry about on the flight. The trip from Va to Orlando is a really short one, perfect for your first time! Just think, if my kids can do from MD to Hawaii (10 hours total) then you can do a couple of hours to Florida. Do you have a nonstop flight? That makes it so much nicer if you do. I would suggest you bring an Ipod with your favorite music on it to help you relax. If that doesn't help maybe bring your disney spreadsheet and re-plan your visit. :rotfl:

Denversees4me--I don't see my name on the FE list, can you please add me. It is myself, DH, dd 9, dd 11 and dd 12 (birthday Oct 25). Thanks.

florida - sorry dont know what happened???? We will add you
Wilma - can you add her to group A ( it is the group with 9 not 10 ) this will make the groups even again
sorry for the mix up Florida !
MOVE EEYORE MOVE

Aaaah! Two more weeks for my next WDW visit and a bit more for my 5K.
I am doing good on my training, but I am suddenly starting to get soooo nervous!!!

I have an sneak peak of my costume today... ready?

I am not all done with the bodice yet, but I made it without a pattern, and also the skirt. What do you guys think? (Sorry about the bad photo, but I was taking it from a mirror and the flash was turned off to avoid the glare)
It was my first time sewing anything bigger than a loose hem or a button, so I am very proud :lmao:

The shirt I ended up buying, I actually am halfway done sewing one, but it is two sizes too small even though I could swear I cut it for a size over :confused3 it looks pretty nice though so I'll finish it anyway and hopefully I'll be able to wear it once I loose some weight. :thumbsup2

I have added you back on to the list. I had sent you two PM's previously and not had any answer, which was the reason I took you off. Glad you have decided you would like to join in and I have now added you on to Group A :)

Now the groups are even again, if everyone else is in agreement, I would like to propose that we don't now add anyone else to the lists. From a personal point of view, I am making a lot of my gifts and there is going to come a point where I literally don't have time to make any more. We did originally say we were going to close the list mid August anyway so perhaps now is as good a time as any. That way we all know where we are and exactly how many we are buying/making for. What does everyone else reckon?

Sounds good to me. Especially for those that are making personalized gifts.

I agree, Cari! MOVE EEYORE MOVE!!! :eeyore:
