we have 4 people staying in the room, but 2 people wont share a bed,,,can we get a rollaway or does somebody have to sleep on the floor? should we bring an airmattress?
I asked this same question not too long ago! The consensus was that there are no roll aways available. A few people reported getting them for $10/night, but Tyler, who worked there said they really are not supposed to be avaiable. We are bringing the air mattress, since I have a DD7 and DS10 who simply can't share a bed and sleep. Have a great trip!
I've stayed at POP twice & don't know if they have roll-aways. But maybe you can try what we do. When my mother & I take my DD11 & DS7 to POP, I sleep with one kid and she sleeps with the other. Have a great trip!
We had this same issue because we don't do well with full size beds. At POP (unlike the All Stars), the beds are attached to the floor and can't be moved so to put a roll-away in a room like that I was told was a fire hazard. They will do it for you if you get a king room. There is a fee.
Sleeping with DS (10) is like sleeping beside a windmill because he is a spinner. DH and I can't sleep in anything beside a king bed because he sleeps "spread eagle" in this huge "X" formation (looks like a cheerleader lying down...he-he). You would think he was making a snow angel. It's a good thing I don't require much space.
Since the occupancy of a room with a king sized bed is only two, they might not allow a rollaway bed in the room. You might have gotten a one-time thing.

Actually, we have done this before at other WDW resorts with a king and/or the doubles. Just as soon as DS (now 10) outgrew the pack & play that they offer. The CM last year told me that at POP it was a fire hazard to have a roll-away with the 2 double beds. Maybe this is something new across all of the properties, I am not sure.
I would bring an air mattress. That way you would be on the safe side. I routinely sleep with my dd in WDW, but that's in a queen bed. When we go to Pop or an AllStar, it's just the two of us and we each take a double bed. She is waaaay too squirmy at night.
We will bring an airbed. I would do a twin; so, it can fit easily in the room. I bring a pump, too. I don't plan on letting it stay up while were gone from the room.
We were at Pop this past June. 15yo DD and 17 yo DS took turns sleeping on a cot we brought. I would take an air mattress next time. We moved the table and chairs and put the cot next to the wall. We made sure it was out of mousekeeping's way so they could clean. It worked well for us.
We're in the same boat. it's me, DH, DD (4) and DGM. DD moves all over during the night kicking and hitting (has bad night terrors). Original plan was to have her sleep w/ DGM but her legs are real sensitive and I'm scared DD will really hurt DGM's legs. We have decided to bring an airbed. I found one at Wal*Mart for $37. It's twin size w/ a built in pump and it has height to it so DD won't be on the floor.
