family says ROL is a must see since this is our first trip since it opened. no dinner pkg's left so should i FP it. going late sept. how long is the standby lines now, though I know sept won't be as crowded

From what I understand, it's hit or miss on the crowd. We were there about 2.5 weeks ago. No FP+. We got there maybe 50 minutes early, and we wished we had waited another 20-30 minutes. There was plenty of room. Toward the end, it got full, but we definitely didn't need to be as early as we were.

As much as I love WDW, I was somewhat meh about the show.

The show's in its first year, so it's hard to say what it will be like in September. In April we were glad to have FP and we have them for our August trip. It comes down to what other FP you'd get instead.

Pretty sure they just opened up the rest of the days for September within the last few hours or maybe even minutes? I check frequently for November and I think this is the first time I'm seeing all days showing ROL Dining in September. Check again! I bet you'll have luck finding something now!

If doing stand-by:
If only one showing that evening, you would probably want to be in line at least 1 hour before the start time.
If two showings, the second one is usually easier to get in.
