Roger Rabbit's Closure?!?!

We are leaving for Disneyland next Sunday and I just rechecked the refurbishment calendar. Roger Rabbit is scheduled to be closed the November 12-19. It wasn't on the calendar as closed last week...anyone know why it would be added? Any hope it will reopen earlier then the 20th? This is my daughter's favorite ride and we will be in DL leaving DL the morning of the 20th.

The goal is always to bring the park up to it's best quality and beauty before the peak crowds hit.

Maybe they were ahead of schedule on other projects and thought they could squeeze in some quick maintenance and stuff on Roger Rabbit, before the heat of the frenzied holiday season starts.

Look at how heated of an issue the refurb downtime for the WDW Hall of Presidents and WDW Space Mountain is to the guests that are attending thoses parks soon. WDW HoP is down until 7/4/08 and they have yet to finalize WDW's Space Mountain's down time and for how long. (They want to give that one a similar long-term overhaul to the DL one - with track and building improvements, but guests are freaking out!)

You don't say how old your daughter is, but I know with my oldest, we try to do some new rides or experiences every trip. They definitely become "new favorites"!

Saturday, Zoe was brave enough to try Pinnochio (we detoured her there, since we had been in the park a really long time, were tired, and didn't want to wait for PPF) for the first time and all she did was talk about it on the way out of the park! She was also thrilled to see the Jonas Brothers peform live and to meet the Fairies in Pixie Hollow for the first time ever.

That made up for going home at 6pm.
