Roger Rabbit??

I was just wondering if Roger Rabbit was ever in any of the parks? I don't mean the ride, I mean the character. My friend swears up and down that she had her pic taken with him a few years ago, but I don't remember him being there. Anyone know??

Last time I saw him was about a year and a half ago in the Disney-MGM Studios.

He did in the 90s, but not anymore. There's some legal battle with Spielberg and Disney that has to do with it. Since Alblin is a part-owner of Roger, than that means that both they and Disney must agree on everything the Rabbit does. Spielburg isn't too happy with Disney now so Roger's gone from the parks for now. In the 90s though he was everywhere- in every MK Parade up until 1996 and doing meet and greets reguarly until about that time as well, especially at MGM. Since then, however, he has become extreemly rare, until he's basically been taken out of the parks, including being replaced by Genie in SpectroMagic.

Funny tho, how with this thing between Spielburg and Disney, that they are able to keep the Roger Rabbit ride open at DL!! How do they manage to do that, anyone know???

Because the ride was built in the early 90s before the dispute, they can keep it. That's also why Roger isn't in Spectro, Because they had replaced the parade withe the MSEP for the Millennium Celebration, when they brought the newly rehabed Spectro back, they were not allowed to have Roger in it because the parade had technically closed when they brought back the MSEP.
