Passed ROFR yesterday - I just received our closing docs! That was fast!!
I'm not an expert so maybe someone else can weigh in on this, but it's my understanding that you would need to go through Estoppel before getting accurate closing documents. Doesn't seem very Disneyesque for this to have been completed in 1 day.

Maybe there's more to it, but it would seem that the estoppel process is basically done during the ROFR process. I mean, isn't Disney verifying all the points in the account when they are making their ROFR decision anyway?

I had posted my original "Sent to ROFR" back in September, but it wasn't included in the above summaries. Here is newly-updated "TAKEN" status

1oldguitarman---$45-$9596-200-VB-DEC-0/14, 0/15, 200/16 - sent September 3, TAKEN Oct 1

NOTE: the "TAKEN" date is estimated. The company I was working with didn't communicate very well at all, I had to send multiple e-mails and texts to get responses. Finally heard in late October that DVC had exercised their ROFR earlier

Oh well, it was a good, low price but expensive for annual dues. I'm content with my 200 VWL, 100 BCV, 200 BDWK and 310 AKV points ... yet somehow I STILL could use more!!!

Idk, rofr only took 13 days. All I know is I got papers today saying closing docs. This is how much you owe and this is where you send it. This is my first resale, so I don't really know what to expect, but the broker has been great and very efficient through the whole process. I'll give an update to when I get the points ;)

No. Would be nice, but estoppel is requested by title company after you pass rofr.

I'm shocked by that too. I'm wondering if the lawyer didn't send the closing documents before the estoppel letter was received. If it were my contract, I would be asking the broker if the estoppel letter was received before I mailed a check.

Awesome that things are going so quickly for you! I am curious though if you paid an estoppel fee, and if you did, would your title company provide you with a copy? I think everyone on this board would love to also be able to also know the secret to get it this quickly instead of the current snail pace!:)

DMOMof3---$110-$16,500-150-BCV-Sept-170/’15, 41/’16, 150/’17- sent 10/23, passed 10/30

Made offer 10/22, my deposit was sent overnight to title company, they received it the morning of 10/23. I just got the email from my broker it passed :yay::yay::yay::yay::yay:, closing by 12/14/15

Beyond excited! First offer on first resale!!!

Since it's Friday (and I haven't posted this in a while), here is the list of buyers who *should* (statistically speaking) hear back on ROFR within the next week (if they haven't already):

I've finally decided to join this little party...
WilyBrace---$119-$6654-50-BWV-Jun-50/'15, 100/'16, 50/'17-sent 10/20
Hopefully the quick ROFR turn-arounds keep going!

Passed 10/30!
I'm really looking forward to being a member!

When we were going back and forth with the seller in the beginning, the points were all screwed up in the UY's. First it was this many, then that many, and they kept changing it. Apparently the seller had a vacation planned just in case he didn't sell, but when he cancelled and put them back it was a mix of borrowed, and banked. I was a little bothered by that. Not is a rude way (I made sure to be as nice as possible), just in a wanting to be cautious way, and it took a while to get it all straightened out. The broker told me that since this was such an issue, she would make sure the other steps would go quick and smooth, which is why I am not THAT surprised that it is moving briskly now. I'll keep this thread updated with my full timeline.

I see ROFR's are going quickly (YAY!) and it doesn't seem there are as many pending sales right now, so maybe they have extra time at Disney and moving quickly...I just don't know.

(seller) undchefreak---$103-$15450-150-BWV-Jun-21/15', 150/16', 150/17', sent 10/15, passed 10/28
I listed this and was told that the price was too high (chose price because others with same/more points were at this price), and got a full price offer the day it was posted. Not too shabby.
Wow, that's a great selling price! Congrats :)!
