ROFR Thread Oct to Dec 2025 *PLEASE SEE FIRST POST FOR INSTRUCTIONS & FORMATTING TOOL*

Our title company say it’s tomorrow that they open. I hope it’s today. I would love to plan our June trip planned.
I'm really hoping the quick turnarounds will continue. I have 1 contract closed, waiting for Disney & another that feels like it's in limbo because 1 of 5 sellers won't sign. Ugh, they've had paperwork for 26 days & can't find 5 min to do an online notary.

Me too!

That sounds horrible! We also have one contract closed and just waiting on Disney, and now another that just passed rofr but is now in the closing process.

The contract expires right after Christmas, so I'm hoping they realize title companies etc are closing for holidays & get it signed. I'm irritated enough that I'm prepared to walk away & start over if they don't. I will never buy another contract that has multiple multigenerational sellers because getting all of them to sign documents has been a nightmare from the start. I'm truly starting to think this one didn't want to sell & is dragging their feet on purpose.

I’m currently a member with my ex husband. We are in the process of selling our contracts and this will be a contract of my own. So, I guess they will have to create a new account?
Gotcha, it will be interesting to see which comes through first or on the same day.

Was that easier than just removing an owner from the current contracts?
We had three contracts - BWV, BLT, and AKL. According to the divorce agreement, I have “custody” of the contracts until our son graduates from high school, then we have to sell and split the proceeds. I decided that I’d rather sell them now in order to get disentangled from my ex. We already sold BWV. We’re working on selling BLT. He’ll keep the proceeds of that sale and will remove himself from the blue card qualifying AKL contract.

I don’t know if it’s easier, but in the end he’ll get his money and I’ll be able to keep some of the points and member benefits.

Unfortunately, I don't think you're going to be able to tell the identity of the selllers until your offer's already been accepted. As for the notary they don't even have to pay for online notary. Most UPS stores offer notary services for $5.
