I find it somewhat interesting that VGC ROFR prices are continuing to creep up. VGC ROFR price is now exactly where I successfully bought a VGC contract a couple of months ago.

Ive toyed with the idea of doing a AKV to CCV/BLT conversion for the lower dues and longer expiration but I’m drawn back in by value/club 1BRs and also the loss of commission fees. I may or may not do it after a few years but hrm it is awfully tempting to switch.

The main reason I pulled the trigger was I love CCV (slightly less than AKV), the dip in the CCV market and having twins putting my family to 5 members. So in the not so far future, the value studios and 1 bedrooms we will have too many family members to utilize them. I’d rather make the switch now when I know what the market is, rather than try to predict what it will look like in 2ish years when they hit 3 years old.

Doesnt CCV 1BRs sleep 4 as well though? Or do you mean since you can no longer do studios and 1BRs that you might as well go to CCV 2BRs cuz it's a lot harder to book a value/club 2BR than a 1BR and of course lower dues at CCV

Yes that’s correct. I would rather pay lower dues when it’s exceedingly likely I will be booking 1 or 2br with AKV resort and savanna rooms readily available at the 7 month mark. Plus I gain the 11 month booking advantage at CCV for Christmas.
