Yeah I saw they had been listed for 14hrs and told my husband that I was sure they were already gone, and the aggregate site was just behind. But he said to make an offer, and I’m glad we did! We really enjoy staying at SSR, and their value for SAP

We also bought SSR this year for SAP. We love the resort. And I was able to use my SSR points to get 3 nights at the GFV in a studio for December. It’s a great deal for points that we bought at 83$/pt.

Can I just say that I hate dealing with resale listing agents. 80% of the ones I have are ever dealt with are passive aggressive. There is literally one company I won’t even look at their listings bc everybody I have ever contacted have been rude or passive aggressive. I’ve got money to spend but yet I feel like a second class citizen bc I want to negotiate on price. I’m not paying top dollar just so you make more commission.

Ok, now I will get off my soap box.

(Granted, I’ve already bought 3 contracts this year so I don’t really need another but….. I’m a sucker for a good deal)

I’ve had widely variable experiences and also go in with low, but I think reasonable, offers. We’ve had some that have been professional and kind, really knowing how to have a reasonable and friendly conversation. We’ve had others that have been passive aggressive and others that have been downright rude. For that last category I just won’t look at the broker anymore so it’s that company’s loss. We vote with our feet and our wallets!

Apparently there was an issue with the paperwork that caused a slight delay, so I'm not sure if it was truly "sent" on 9/16 or there should be a different date, but I'm glad it is through now.

Hello All! I've been lurking off and on for a while and finally dove in to put in an offer on our very first DVC contract. We just passed ROFR yesterday. We were told that Disney had been taking up to 50 days, plus I keep seeing that Disney has been scooping up AKL for direct sale inventory the past few months so I'm feeling pretty lucky right now!

Now I'm just itching to get the paperwork from the title company so I can send payment and finalize everything and finally get access to the site to start planning a trip!

Depends on your title company… but I would say chances are pretty good. Only took 13 days from recording to points in account for my latest contract

If you just passed today, then this is in the hands of the seller and title company. Sometimes they are quick, sometimes they are slow. But once they sign and title closes then Disney seems to be taking 2 weeks or less to load memberships.

Will really depend on how fast you get the closing docs but more importantly how long it takes seller to sign and get them back.

I think having points by Dec 1st is doable if things move at a typical pace
