📊 September 2025 ROFR Report: Disney waited until the very last minute to use up its ROFR budget—literally approving buybacks as late as 8 PM on Sept 30. 😳

While the total number of contracts bought back (22) matched August, the buyback rate actually increased due to slower sales volume. A few familiar trends continued:

🔹 Grand Floridian led the way again
🔹 Animal Kingdom saw a small spike
🔹 And Polynesian? Still no appetite from Disney—over a year with zero ROFRs

I realize one month does not make a trend (particularly a month with low inventory), but interesting to me to see both BLT and BCV with higher average resale prices than CCV. I mean, I happened to have scored a couple of good CCV deals myself in the past few months, but I find it interesting. Seems like CCV continues its trend as one of the most economical places to buy given the length of contract.

Seems like VGF has dropped down to the $150-$160/point range. Wonder if a bunch of the people who bought VGF 2.0 are having second thoughts.
No idea why people would think that, VGF 2.0 during firesale was going for 161 after MB. I think this just solidifies in their mind that this was an amazing deal. I don't even care for VGF that much but even I somewhat regret not buying it then.

VGF was going for $180/point resale before the Direct Fire Sale of VGF 2.0....... I know because I bought a resale contract right before the price was disclosed, and have been kicking myself ever since.

Sept 30 is the end of Disney's fiscal year. They're just depleting whatever is left in their annual budgets. Maybe moving leftover funds from a DVD non-ROFR account over to ROFR.

CCV is the new SAP+

Yikes, yeah.. idk if the prices are within 20-30 per point of one another it's probably worth to go direct
At the time Direct VGF points were $265/point, so we thought we were getting a bargin.... but DVC dropped the direct price to $225/point I believe, which sent resale prices down.
