The points currently in 2025 are banked from 2024. I asked the seller to bank the 2025 points into 2026 before going to ROFR. I won't need them by Jan. 31st and I didn't want to risk any closing delays causing me to potentially miss the banking deadline in September. Hopefully it will progress much more quickly than that though!

I tried making offers on multiple SSR contracts for SAP, but couldn't get anyone to come down on price. I already own 110 points at AKV with same Feb UY, so even with the slightly higher dues for years to come, it will be nice to be able to combine them at 11 months.

Great job! Getting them banked will make the process feel much smoother not having that deadline stress. I think having them to pair with your current contract is a good choice.

I emailed my broker to see if maybe something had come in over the long weekend and he told me “batches usually at the beginning or end of the week”. Let’s hope I don’t have to wait past 30 days on this one.

Yeah was surprised to be honest. It was my starting point on the negotiation and the seller just took it right away. I think with it being a cash offer and that we had funds already in hand, they wanted a quick sale.

Hoping for speedy Disney loading up the points!

Same I was shocked there was no negotiations on mine as well. I'm twiddling my thumbs waiting for my documents and the money wiring.

We were lucky it all came through today, money wired and closing on weds, so been pretty speedy. DVC title and Escrow been excellent really

I'm using them too but we have a POA closing and they kept emailing me instead of the wife of the couple selling me the contract. They asked me to sign the notarization stuff in advance but I corrected them and I don't know if it actually happened. I don't think the husband is in a position to be signing documents so hopefully this all gets finished quickly.
