Im sure this one was posted here in the ROFR thread. I was in awe of the price as I also own CCV in a Dec UY.

I’m thinking there’s 2 possibilities here and I am really hoping it’s the latter!

1. Preemptive posturing to increase CCV average price for possible reflections 2.0

2. Preemptive posturing to increase CCV average price to then turnaround and sell them direct with amazing incentives similar to what we saw with OKW

Nooo lol I have been dying to buy a fixed week contract at CCV and low direct pricing would be a godsend

I thought so too until I saw a recent 50 point contract at SSR for $180/point with no banked or current UY points and the label "HOT DEAL"

(I do realize you said "almost always less pp" but that contract made me LOL so much I needed an excuse to bring it up )

I just saw on DVC fan group that someone’s CCV contract was just ROFR’d. Did anyone else see that? It was a good deal but I’m surprised Disney took it. Anyone wanna speculate what that was all about?

I saw that too! It was at $115/pt and just last month there was a $118 that passed ROFR, listed here in this thread. And another that just passed on Monday for $117. I guess $117 is Disney's limit.
There is another at $115 that seems to be waiting still. It's listed on the first page.

Oof. Now I feel like I have a target on my back for our $115 CCV contract. We'll see. I don't anticipate hearing for at least another 10-14 days (we submitted on 7/29). Our only saving grace might be the junk fee from Fidelity ($225) and us paying the Estoppel fee ($150).

Reflections (or whatever they are doing over there) was my first thought, but you're right it could be OKW 2.0. lol

Oh shoot!!!! I have a CCV purchase for $121.50 pp Dec UY 175 points and it was submitted 7/19. Haven't heard back yet. Please let it pass.........

My too. I have one that got submitted 7/19 for $121.50 with the same Dec UY (not stripped, but not loaded). Buyer paid MF too. But I paid closing costs. Mine was sent 7/19 and have not heard back yet.

I’m betting it’s as simple as they were running low on CCV points (they have to hold 2%) so they just yeeted themselves a contract (or a few).

I definitely don't think it's b/c of Reflections. They didn't start ROFR'ing Poly until April. But I wouldn't complain about a fire sale like OKW, that might be the only thing that could convince me to ever buy direct.

Hahaha, my son (7) just got a pair of Crocs and likes to kick them off and have them fly in the air and calls that a "yeet". Here, I thought he invented it.

They threw themselves some points into reserve. My 9 year old confirmed throwing. I could've been convinced that it also meant "yes"!!!

So glad I’m not alone in not understanding the skibidi lingo of my 10 year old also someone in one of the DVC Facebook pages I follow was hit by ROFR too for Poly. Not only are they so slow, but seeing 2 contracts at least being reported taken today makes it more agonizing to wait
