This contract took FOREVER to close b/c the seller was unloading multiple contracts and was confused by all the paperwork. That's why I asked specifically about Disney's end. We're already at 70 days from offer acceptance and the deed only recorded middle of last week.
Understood. That thread includes timeline details for every stage, including from the time the deed is recorded to points deposited into the account.

I’ve posted on the thread before, I’m aware, I just wanted someone to give me a quick reply so I didn’t have to read through it to find a new member, and someone came through. Just me being lazy.

Not sure if I’m misinterpreting what you’re saying, but you won’t actually be getting an entire new activation code, etc. with a new use year. The new contract will show up under your existing account with a new Member id - it’ll be “stacked” under your first UY/contract. All that to say it won’t take as long as becoming a brand new resale member. 👍🏼

Thanks, that’s good to know as I wasn’t sure if getting a new member ID would take longer!

While they don’t typically transfer banked points, they have made some exceptions for owners transferring between their own memberships.

So, you can always call and see if MS will do it for you. The worst they can say is no.

I always recommend doing a chat instead of calling. It’s much easier and they can do almost the same as when calling in.
