1st time posting to the ROFR thread as a Seller!
I am anxious to see if any of my fellow DisBoarders post for these same contracts, so I will not initiate the tracking string yet for pangyal.
I just sold 30 BCV points & 40 SSR points.
I listed these on 7/17 and both sold on 7/19.
I am pleased with the prices, but will also wait a day or two to see if the buyers post here, as I'm curious to see if they think they got a good deal. ;)
A lot less pressure regarding ROFR as a seller, in that I'm certain to get the price I accepted, either from the buyers or from DVC, but I hope it's from the buyers. Both were submitted to ROFR today, 7/22, so I will also lurk around the Closing Time thread to see if they are posted there.

Do you think $70 a point had something to do with the ROFR ?
I'm sure it did. It was also a loaded contract. I also wonder if they liked that it was exactly 150 points because maybe they had a match for a direct buyer at the 2057 end-date. It would've been an amazing deal, IMHO.

Looks like it. Disney is making sure buying direct is way more easier (atleast from what I am hearing)
Of course... its becoming the way businesses do business, they only care about the sale, not the product, it just has to be good enough to make a sale.

Side Note, I've noticed this same thing in many advertising companies, & now can see it translate elsewhere. It's a shame, & i think it leads to complete failure of the companies down the road, but they just don't seem to care as long as profits are up. :)
*Probably a conversation for the Controversial Section. lol

How is the Controversial section these days? 🤣 I forgot all about it (I was scared to join when it was prompting me every 5 min...)

Out of curiosity, what was your use year?

In everyone's experience - once you've sent funds and all the paperwork is done, how long does it take these companies to close so the county can record it and we get points?

“all the paperwork is done” — If you mean with seller paperwork included, I would say within 48 hours. DVC Closings in usually next day.

Oh good, not long then. Everything was in on Friday and I'm still waiting; started wondering if this was going to turn into another massive milestone.
