A bit unrelated to the topic at hand, but I was wondering if someone knows how long Disney is taking these days to credit the points on a resale contract to someone who is already a member.
My deed was finalized February 24th... will have expiring points by August; just wondering if there is a place to give them a bit of pressure to expedite it a little.

Just wondering if your points were ever credited?

Hate to give it up after just 1 year, but it was for good reason. We ended up buying into Poly direct. Family of 5 and out of state AP holders. We usually take 1-2 weekend trips a year plus a week during spring break or summer, so the ability to get the Sorcerer's Pass makes it worth it to us.

Do you know if your new contract specifically says Jambo on it, or do you have another that does? Or do you just like Jambo better? (or is your signature just the image you found to use, Jambo has nothing to do with it?)

So i actually have no idea what the deed is going to say. Hopefully I will know next week! I would like to know this too so I can accurately reflect where I own

I went through my whole contract and it just says Animal Kingdom Villas. I do prefer Jambo more which is why I chose that one, but it's subject to change if I know where it is

If you like Jambo better, just keep it regardless of what the contract says. I was just curious as I've barely even stepped foot into Jambo.

Yes I'm going to ask the title company, hopefully she knows, because she is supposed to send me the closing docs on Monday so I'll be in contact with her. I didnt know that the booking was a little easier depending on which one you get, I hope it's jambo

It might only show on the original direct purchase. If they bought it resale, keep looking up the prior owners until you get to the direct contract.

I figured it out it's Kidani! Seems like units 1-45A are Jambo and 57A-120C are Kidani. There's like 6x the amount of units for Kidani than Jambo

Why does it matter whether it’s Jambo or Kidani? Don’t they both get the same booking privileges?

Why does it matter whether it’s Jambo or Kidani? Don’t they both get the same booking privileges?

They do BUT with the booking screen, if you have Kidani, Jambo does not automatically check as it is listed in the area for resorts that aren’t your own. If you are trying to get those value studios and running late, it’s a small extra step to drop down the menu and check Jambo.

That is the reason we bought GFV direct in 2023 when they were having that great sale. We already had AKL resale. Being from Montreal that sorcerer pass is great. In 2024 we took 2 trips for a total of 16 days and I also went with my sister for another 5 days. We are going back in May for 11 days. I just renewed my sorcerer pass and it cost me $1079 with the memory maker.
